lola, I only gained five pounds when I had Milan and he was just over eight pounds - actually I was losing weight at the beginning of the pregnancy because I stopped eating junk altogether and was eating healthily. All was fine, it's just what happens when one is rather fluffy!

I'm soooo jealous! lol. I gained almost 90 pounds with DD. I lost 50 fairly quick but then the last 40 wouldnt budge. Then I gained about 40 with DS so overall I had 80 pounds to lose to get to pre-pregnancy weight. I'm half way there though!!!

I hated the comments when preggers with DD. People were like "are you having twins?", "what are you eating?", etc. Even the doctor had me write a food diary. She didn't find anything wrong with it. I just kept gaining no matter what I did. So frustrating. When I found out I was pregnant I cut out ALL caffience, junk food and any habits that I thought might even remotely affect the baby (no hair dying, no manicures, no sandwich meats, etc). The doctor kept telling me I was super healthy but the weight kept coming. lol. I do admit I wasn't as active though so that was probably the big issue. I was tired, sore and uncomfortable all the time so working out wasn't going to happen. lol.

Oh well, working hard now to get back to shape. Hopefully once I get down, #3 will come. Hopefully but I'm doubtful. Need some major financial gains first. lol.

Tonight we have food..drinks etc. Sleepover and wii on the big screen in the living room. About 15ppl over and at 1am homemade poutine..

Here's the screen my cousin sets up when he wants to put something on like music vid's etc. He put the screen where the Christmas tree was. Has the projector connected to the hard drive now with 202 wii games. Oh and my PS3 is on the truck for delivery, should get it soon lol.

Thinking about you as well Dan, can't wait for an update!!

I definitely want to adopt a healthier lifestyle for the new year... make better food choices, work on portion control, get more physical activity into my life, etc. I'm tired of being fat.

I want to work on doing more for others... more RAOKs, more donations to the food bank, etc.

I also want to spend more time with my kids... with Christian living at his Dad's and Hayden starting school this past year I've realized how fast they're growing up and how much I miss them!!!

So those are my goals for the new year

Hi everyone, just popped in to see how everyone is dong. Dh broke his glasses this morning so we have to head out to get them fixed. I'm feeling better this morning. I think my cold is finally starting to get better Hope everyone has a great day

Glad to hear you're feeling better Holly! Sorry to hear about Hubby's glasses... my biggest fear is breaking mine, I'm blind as a bat without them lol

Well, whew...relatives have left for home with a quick (?) stop at the Cookstown Outlet Mall....of course!...Hubby's off to return a couple of things, and here I am.....quietly at home...Jenny's asleep on the bed behind me, happy that we're back to normal, me with my little ? glass of Bailey's, looking forward to a QUIET! evening at home with my hubby, nice appys, bubbly and movies....absolutely perfect. DD and her DH are having a "pyjama day" with our grandson and will also be home safe and sound tonight.....and not missing the nonsense of those party years. Actually she always hated new year's eve parties...too much in the way of expectations with very little materializing for most people....she relishes avoiding all of that now...

However...for those of you celebrating and venturing out tonight, please party sensibly, don't drive if you've been drinking, and be here with us in the morning ... or later in the day if you celebrated a tich too much...
