So I never give up...I am trying yet another GF recipe ( in the attempt to make GF hamburger buns for DH) he really hates going without the bun, and the last ones quite honestly tasted ok, but they were more like bullets than buns...a tad hard maybe?
So they are in the oven " proofing or rising" yeah we'll see if they do that. Keep ya all posted. If they work I shall take a picture!!

Update!

They are tasty, look very funny in shape, but I am claiming this as a victory! I don't feel like photographing them, guess I am lazier than I first thought, lol.

I just made 2 1/2 dozen raisin bran muffins and 2 dozen gingersnap raisin muffins. Did I mention DH loves raisins? If I get in the mood tomorrow it`ll be raspberry and maybe blueberry muffins.

Couldn't walk by the Duncin Hines brownie box for $2 today So we have a tray of fudgey brownies to devour over the next couple of days! Maybe will splurge on some vanilla bean ice cream, warm fudge topping & nuts! Much cheaper than DQ!

Janetta....I picked up a bunch of kale at the grocery store today & put it back...I've read so much about how it's really good for us all, but to eat it ??? It's "garnish" to me, so thanks for posting the kale chips photos! Maybe I'll try that. They say to put it in my smoothie....I'll let you know how that goes!

It's been so friggin hot that baking has not even been an option since the weekend. Today is going to be another 90+ degree day, but dh is out of bread and bran muffins. Sooooo, I'm going to get everything ready and bake it off in my portable oven, not sure how it will turn out but I'm going to give it a try. At least I can put the oven outside. I'm sure you guy's have seen these, best $29 I ever spent. I have done roasts, cabbage rolls, cakes, a lot of stuff, but never bread, so we will see.

How big is that thing? Does it just work like a slow-cooker... I love my slow-cooker so much. Had two but broke the crock in one.

I am going to try yeastless pizza dough today for homemade pizza pockets.

I have never seen a portable "oven!" Love the idea though for the hot days in the summer! Not sure where you're at Holly, but here in Ontario, it's friggin cold & baking helps heat UP the house lol....I'm going to look into this little oven you speak of!! Sometimes one oven is just not enough!
