My son is Awesome!! (Cineplex points brag) ~~Updated~~

I was buying some Cineplex tickets on-line yesterday and noticed my Scene points balance was way higher than I thought it should be. So I logged in to check the point history. My son took the card with him when he went to the movies with a group of friends and got everyone to use my card when buying tickets/snacks. He earned me 2100 points in one day!!! That's enough for 2 free movie tickets! There was 10 transactions for 200 points and one for 100 points!

UPDATE:

There was 10 of these transitions for 200 points. I just looked and they all went into my account on different days, but are all say 01/25/13. He went to the movies on the Jan 26th. I am so confused. I also now see 2x 100 points on the 26th for buying tickets. I am so confused and how I got these points now.No one went to the movies on the 25th or any of the other days. Just on Jan 26th and & February 17th.They all did see a AVX movie. I think around 5-6 people went, they all bought snacks, but I do not know what they ordered. (He is at school now)

That's great. See how much they learn from you when you think they aren't listening. Children learn from what they see. That deserves a free movie night with mom with those extra points but his choice. Great brag -thanks for sharing and you have a smart and thoughtful son.

Do you know how the points actually break down? The reason I ask is because we go a lot! WE usually buy 4 tickets, but we do 2 transactions to get 100 points with each 2 tickets bought. If we buy all 4 at once they only give us 100 points, which is a rip off I think.
My DH says the most points you can earn in one day on the same Scene card is 200, regardless of how many tickets are bought.
However, I know there is a Combo deal @ the snack counter where you earn 1000 Scene points, along with getting your popcorn, drink and candy, but the Combo is over $20.00 to purchase, so that is kind of like buying the ticket really.
Remember you do not earn points on buying stuff at the snack counter, you just get a 10% discount on the stuff( still better than no discount I guess)

However your DS did it congrats!! Tell him take my card with him next time. lol!!

How foolish did I feel when I asked the cashier for our 4 tickets a while back and he shushed me, sliding into the counter and said 2 please.....then after that transaction 2 more please lol!!! I learned!

My dd16 went to the movies with a large group of friends and each friend used the card individually but she only got 300 points in total.
