Good Morning everyone. I had to leave Maggie at the hospital. They did more testing and that last bite was a scorpion bite and some of the poison has gone in her nervous system, thus the wobble. When I left she was on an iv with drugs in it and of coarse being the huge sucker I am I was I will go back today to see if there is any change. Vet said she is lucky that she didn't die from the bite (I'm assuming it was a tiny baby scorpion, otherwise it should have killed her) Our neighbor (2 doors down) killed a scorpion on his lawn 2 nights ago. They are mostly nocturnal, and we don't let our dogs out at night because of it. Vet says that she's pretty strong and should come through alright. She many need to be on meds for a while, but I'm ok with that, I just want my tiny Maggie back!!!

Holly, you know Maggie is in my prayers and thoughts...poor wee thing has been through so much, but is such a fighter! She's fighting for her life to be with you...Let us know as soon as you know anything at all today; I hope she can be home, comforted by you, your hubby and of course, Marley.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday...It's the NFL Combine weekend, so I'm busy watching tv, and making my picks to see where they go in the Draft in April. SO exciting!!

Our tiny Maggie had surgery yesterday, I'm so foggy with everything that's going on, it's been a whirlwind. I'm pretty sure I went into shock when they said so matter of factly that I should just put her down Who does that, she's a member of our family!!!!! I tried to put the details into words in the pet thread. I just want to cry, bury my head in the sand and come out when things are all better. I know she's a fighter and she will pull through, she has too, we all love her to much!

Sorry if I'm down today peeps, I just feel lonely, and my poor Marley feels the same. We're such a sad crew. I have the best friends in our park here, they made me smile (and cry some more). Sue our neighbor came to the door this morning and gave my dh a cheque for $250 form the park to help out with Maggie's medical bills...can you believe that, we really do have a fabulous group of people here. I don't know how I'll ever repay them, but I'm thinking of a way.
