I'd hate to be a cop. To many people treat them poorly, too much paperwork to.

I have no beef against the cops. But I do not like those photo radar devices, these are just money making schemes that do nothing for public safety.

I've been pulled over four times for speeding in my driving life. Twice I was able to talk my way out of a ticket.

Firstly, I'd never be a cop. Buuuut, if I had to choose, then I'd go for traffic cop because there are so many bad drivers out there and I want to nail everyone who uses a phone while driving to the wall by their fingers

None whatsoever. They're just doing their job. The only ones I'd have a beef with would be the ones who power-trip and think that they are above the law because they wear a badge.

i have never really tried to... but one guy pulled me over and took one look at me and just gave me a warning. maybe i was looking particularly stressed or pathetic that day! haha. for the record, i was going the same speed as traffic, but it was just one of those roads where everyone speeds!

I bawled my way out of one, does that count? Cops scare the crap out of me and the first time I got pulled over I just burst into tears LOL. It worked though! I wish I could say I did it on purpose but not the case!

Oh heck no. I love them....especially the good looking ones....like the two I saw last night.
I honestly believe that some of those uniforms they wear are specially designed to make their muscles ripple, which only adds to their appeal.
The guys last night were wearing tight black long sleeved shirts, vests and black khakis, and they just gripped in all the right places.
Oh man I need to go outside and get some fresh air.

In a previous life, I actually took a course to be a PI. Never did anything with it (life got in the way).

Nope. But I do own a pair (& yes, my Mom knows about them, she's the one who gave them to me as a Xmas present).

Yes, even tho I know several very nice policemen. Long story short, an overzealous wannabe Dirty Harry took out his frustration on me and my complaints were dragged out long enough to let this schmuck make a quiet exit. The contacts I'd had at that particular Division (honest older gentleman police officers) had all been forced out to make way for wannabe politicians. My complaints went nowhere and then when the G20 debacle happened....Sigh. The police officers I know are all demoralized these days.

No, but I have ridden in the back of a OPP car lol Not because I did something. It was Feb 3 years ago and BF and I got a flat on a very isolated highway at 1am it was stormy, they stopped to see if we needed help but we were waiting for CAA....I really had to go to the bathroom like really bad about to pee myself bad haha they saw I was doing a dance and asked if I wanted to go to the station to use there bathroom haha

None, I respect that they put there lives on the line to help others. BUT I do have a problem with the ones who think bc they have a badge that entitles them to belittle and bully regular citizens

yes - so many corrupt ones and yes I know some personally, the cops here are famous for being trigger happy racists and they are STILL a boys club, this from a friend who actually quit the force because she felt in danger being a woman and not getting the respect or backup from les boys , corruption is everywhere and you either play the game or get off the team, sorry not much respect for them


also they work 35 hour 4 day weeks here
