I'm going in for a special ultrasound tomorrow... My doctor seems to have this silly notion in his head that I am having twins.

Baffin Island is just as remote - and the govt might even give you some $$ to study polar bears or snowflakes or something and offset the cost of postage.

As for boxes, check first to see whether they contain any kitties. I'm overrun with boxes because the wannabe master of the house won't let me toss them. Funny how the 8lb tyrant always seems to get his way.

Prairiebell... dh does the drive to Winnipeg every day ... I just shiver when he leaves the house and the roads are pure ice. Today will be horrible ... I told him to call me when he gets to work, and if he's later than 5 pm I'll be calling his cell. (he finishes at 3:30) Both of you drive safe and slow ... ok so you're late.... but you will get there! I haven't gotten used to the drop in temp. Im flipping freezing and its on -2 .... next week -14 ... I know there has to be warmer places in Canada! just not in Manitoba ! lol

LOLCAT - Twins??? Oh my if it is you will be very busy! As long as they are healthy, the more the merrier.

My day yesterday was stressful. The sitter sent an email, not a phone call, to tell the DD was hit in the eye yesterday before school with a mini hockey stick. She then sends the DD to school. The teacher noticed at around 10:30 (sam time that I checked my mail) and called the EX (his week) to tell him about Gwen's eye. I was sending him an email at the time (he never answers my calls) and I get back an out of office say gone Family emergency! WTF - He did not call me at all. I called the school, they said he had picked up the DD and was on the way to the local hospital. I called there and they were not there. So I paged him. He had Gwen phone back to say they were on thier way to CHEO. It is now almost noon and I am steaming. I head off to CHEO and wait for them to get there.

Lets just say I was none to nice to him. I made sure he knew he should have called me. If the sitter hadn't sent me the email I would never have know. I also told the school that they should be calling both of us if something happens to the kids.

Long story, short -- Gwen is ok, there was no damage to her eye. They made sure she saw the eye doctor (to early to spell the big word) and she doesn't have to go back for any follow-ups. She might end up with a black eye though.

Good luck lolcat and let us know what happens. If you are having a boy I have a ton of stuff to give you if you need it. I am going to be in London next weekend and in December for a wedding so maybe by then you will know and I will drop some stuff off to you.
I have so much boys stuff, many of it never used you are welcome to.
I want twins, but I want twin girls to get it out of the way. I really want two girls next to complete this family. I love my boys but need some women to even out the attitude here and give my husband some grey hairs (or finish off his baldiness)
