Sounds like a bladder infection. Vet will likely give her antibiotics. Once she's ok (if my armchair diagnosis is correct), give her some yogurt (probiotics will help combat the side effects of the antibiotics) and give her cranberry capsules (SDM has them, I think Swiss Herbal makes them) to prevent future issues.
You might want to feed her something that's easy on her tummy, like boiled chicken breast with rice (use the "broth" to cook the rice) for a few days - small meals multiple times a day. And make sure she drinks lots of water (add broth to get her to drink if she's not inclined to do so).
It's never easy when our family members are under the weather. Give Jenny a kiss from us.

We had a cocker spaniel when I was growing up who had UTI's a lot, blood in the urine was how we noticed, also she'd have to pee a lot. It was sure fun getting a sample from her to take the to vet
We used a pie plate when she'd squat but you have to be quick because she'd notice and stop and look at you like what are you doing??? Antibiotics, probiotics, and you can use cranberry supplements too (as mentioned above).

Oh Lynn, not what I wanted to read this morning! Hopefully it is just something as simple as a bladder infection. I'm very worried now. PLEASE let me know when you get back from the vet, what they have to say, please.

Oh Lynn, hopefully it is easily treated
I second what Andit said about 'easy' food on the tummy - and if you give her kibble, maybe stick to wet for a while if it is crystals

You guys are awesome!!!
We're dropping her off at her vet's at 10am, then going off to bottle our wine...she may be there a while since she doesn't have an appt, her vet is away for a week starting tomorrow, so what luck that she's there today!
Thank you, everyone...you've settled me down from my panic...I'll let you all know what's wrong as soon as she's home...HUGS..!

Oh Lynn! You're lucky to catch your vet in, thank goodness! It's so worrisome when our doggies and other friends are under the weather! Big hugs to her and YOU! It's 11 am. now so, hopefully, you'll know soon that she's well on her way to recovery! I'm thinking about you!!! Take care! JB

Thank you, Avon......
Yes, she's at her vet's now, and although they won't know when she'll be looked at, we're fortunate to have had this happen last night, since her vet will be off for a week starting tomorrow! One of those little silver linings in a dark cloud....Will let you all know what the verdict is when she's home again.....So yucky walking into the house without her turning in circles and whining to drag me to our "make-out sofa"...........

Okay, I can breathe again!
She apparently has a bladder infection, and they're hoping it's not 'stones'. The vet doubts it.
She's home with a 14-day course of antibiotics, normal food, make sure she has lots of water (always does), and they want a piddle sample in 2 weeks.
So..WHEW!!!
That was scary! They asked if I could leave her there...she's so 'sweet'...lol....uh...nope! Not a chance!!
She's exhausted, poor wee thing, so we're going to go to the craft room where she'll nap and I'll make
a spring-time happy card for my BFF with ALS and send it off to her.
THANK YOU, Ladies, for your support and for understanding how scary this can be for us Fur-Moms.
