My daughter Ashley bought herself and my grandson Ryder a puppy while we were gone. A sweet little thing. Her name is Prada and she is half Pug and half Malteese. We're going to call her a Mug!!!Yep not sure what she'll look like fully grown, but she's the sweetest, cutest thing ever. Her and Maggie carry on like they are sisters. Soooo funny to watch them. Marley just chills unless we are outside, then she chases them all over the place and they play. Sorry about this one being fussy

I posted 3. I don't understand why sometimes people can't see them. I'll post one of them again and hope you can see it.

I went back into my profile and changed a few settings to registered members instead of friends. So hopefully now everyone can see them, the 3 above. Let me know if you can't see them and I will post again. It's funny how puppies just get along from the minute they see each other and older dogs, it take a bit of time for an adjustment period. As soon as Maggie saw Prada, she just started playing with her. I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that she had been stuck in the truck traveling home and had more energy than the energy bunny to work off

Six puppies were released from police custody and into good homes recently after an Alexis Creek RCMP officer went above and beyond.
The small B.C. community, near four First Nations reserves, is 112 kilometres west of Williams Lake and faces the “unique” challenge of an overpopulation of dogs.
“Though many dogs have good homes, there is still a large population of strays that run freely about the area and can pose a nuisance,” Const. Lesley Smith said in a press release.
Recently, Const. Krista Mangan became aware of a litter of seven puppies in the community who were in need of a good home.
Through social networking and dogged determination, the 11-year RCMP member was able to track down homes for six of the seven pups within days.
“One pup has yet to be claimed, but Const. Mangan is positive that it too will find a good home soon,” Smith said.
Mangan is an animal lover and was posted to the Alexis Creek detachment only last summer.
“As part of working with Alexis Creek First Nations as their RCMP liaison, I sit on the safety committee board,” Mangan said. “Stray dogs are one of the hot topics, and several solutions are being proposed at this time. I have a soft spot for animals, and knew that I would be able to find homes for them easily.”
