I was thinking back to the conversation about candy we had when we were younger and one of my fav things was the rootbeer gum, 7up gum, or DrPepper gum they used to have.......which is obviously not around anymore..........but then I saw that they came out with this and now I must have it!!

We used to go to the states at least once a year to do some shopping, but haven't been since before Jackson was born and not going anytime soon. I can see when we go next.....hubby and kids will have all their shopping items.......and the border officer will ask me what I'm personally bringing back......."Groceries......gum, flavoured cheerios, fun shaped Kraft Dinner, etc etc etc" LOL

Happy Saturday ladies! I seemed to have forgotten to sign out since Thursday...oops! I just got caught up and have a very busy weekend ahead. My cousin's baby shower from 3 to 7 and we have tix for a live band performance at my Uncle's gf restaurant from 8pm. Tomorrow is dinner at Mandarin with my aunt visiting from Washington. She is a bigwig White House Aide so when she's in town visiting she's here like a breeze, just 2 days, so we try not to miss her.

Heading to the gym in a bit as I haven't exercised since Tuesday and I know I'm going to be eating awesome food at that baby shower. My aunt is doing all the cooking and her cooking is amazing! Since we were talking about goats, I'm wondering if she will be making any curry goat today .

Pumpkin - My husband also speaks Jack Ass, Idiot, Dramaqueen etc. Like yesterday, the kids and I went shopping for a bit and my daughter had the other set of car keys in her purse by mistake, she left me shopping and went back home to drop them off for him as he had a soccer meeting to go to. She returned to the store on the verge of tears because he screamed at her telling her she can keep the keys if she wanted to since she wanted them so much. He said he doesn't know where her brains are sometimes, blah, blah, blah. . Of course I had to appease her by buying her some iskin headphones she was eyeing for a while to console her. She was upset because he hasn't yelled at her like that in a very long time. I told her it's his time of the month and she felt better...LOL!! Mr dramaqueen went to work today and will be back while we are at the baby shower. He better have cooled down by then. Sheesh!

the question about Wii - Yes we have a system but haven't used it in a while, so no we don't need controllers thanks.

I haven't camped in years but used to love it when I was younger! I think I'd still enjoy it, however, it would be more like "glamping" instead of camping.. meaning I need a few luxuries..

I could see a tent trailer no problem.. an actual tent on the ground? Hmm, might be tough, would have to be big and lots of padding and mattesses... and even then I might be a bit grumpy.

All caught up! First off, my thoughts and prayers are with all that are affected by the floods. Very scary. I know some years back there was a possible flood warning where I live and that was scary enough for me. I can't imagine what some are going through.

Ok so while I have been glued to the news in Calgary and on the phone with with family and friends from the south, I have been a busy girl. So without further ado here is the picture of my wrapping job that I have been busy with all day.

That looks like a massive package!!!!!!!!!!! I have yet to start wrapping mine. Not sure what I'm going to do with some of the odd shaped items. Buddy I hope you have scissors because I'll be using a lot of packing tape on them

I used to love the root beer/7UP gum too! Oh the good ol' days lol.
