Aw, if we still had the home that we sold to our DD and her hubby you'd have been more than welcome
to stay with us! Now that we downsized, there's precious little room here....
He loves SN, and just takes over the place when he's there...knows where he wants to go and what he
wants to do, and the neat part is, it changes each time!
Yes, would love to see your pics of Pennsylvania...what brought you there???

morning all -chatted with my daughter last night -she lives in t.o around 5.00 -we live an hour away -so she said on the phone is it raining there -nope -oh my goodness mom its crazy downpouring here-so I thought nothing of it -cause she has always been dramatic her whole life-until I watched some news reports-unreal -and her hubby took and umbrella to walk and get his hair cut-I don't think that would have helped -cant wait to talk to her -wow our world so is changing

good morning everyone. we live in angus and got dumped on with the rain too. my ditch was flooded (and it's a pretty deep one) and they shut down a good chunk of our streets. luckily the military base is here so I always feel safe. hope everyone in Toronto is OK. I was watching it on cp24 last night and it looked awful.

taking dd1 to get her hair cut today. she has straight blonde hair just past her shoulders and has wanted me to get it cut for quite some time so I told her we would go today. she wants it up to her chin. it's gonna look so different. dd2 needs one desperately - her hair is so thick and half way down her back and curly but she won't sit still in the chair.

Morning, everyone!!
Looks like another scorcher today...it's too hot to sit in the sun already, even though my little black pup thinks it's just fine...what a weird one this morning. I put her outside twice when we got up and she would not go onto the grass! Just sat or walked around on the deck! So, fine....went back in, had a coffee, then made up her breakfast, then went outside again, and same thing! Just sat there waiting for the next noise to flip her ears at! Well finally I called her over and she tentatively came onto the grass and {{{insert angelic choir here}}} finally peed!!
I know. I do have a fascinating life, don't I?

So DD and her hubby are still in Vegas enjoying every second of it, and she even had seafood for one of their appetizers (they went to PFChangs and ordered everything on the appetizer menu...sigh...)...Anyway, I get this cryptic text from her:
"going to din-din, then to a peep show with Coco"....she LOVES doing that to her Mother!!! Gah!
So I texted back: okay, you have my attention, who's Coco and where's hubby?", she texted back: "lol...it's a show and coco is in it, google it, LOL"
See? THAT'S why my white hair started coming in when she was born!!!!! Brat.

Anyhoodles!! Have a sun-shiny day, everyone...hope the rains down south didn't do any damage to anyone's home and that you're all ready for a lovely day!!!

Happy to oblige, Coyote, but honestly!! She really likes to tease her Mom and she knows exactly what yanks my chain!!
It's a good thing she's such a wonder....I couldn't have asked for a better daughter (not counting a couple of those teenage years! )....she's a great Mom and wife, and is top in her field at work, and the only thing that worries me about her is her drive ... Type A/s can burn out, but I pray a lot and stay positive...LOL!! What Mom doesn't?!!!

Sounds like my daughter. I love her to peices and she is always up to giving me a run for my sanity. She is 20 now nd it doesn't seem she wants to give her Mom a break anytime soon LOL.
