Good Morning All, feel a little behind yesterday every time I came into the thread something came up and I had to go to work. Good news is our new phones at work are finally up and running with no issues but took we a few hours to get mine set up than I helped some of the less technologically inclined with theirs.

Mason Jeffrey Cunningham born July 10th at 8:04pm. 7lbs 15 oz. Born with a cleft lip and palate so a little bit more serious than expected but we are all healthy and okay, that's all that matters right now. Only got to briefly hold him before he went into incubator but he will be coming into our room finally at 11pm. Pics to come soon, they are on Bill's phone. Will update tomorrow when we are ready to have visitors or if we get to go home. Thanks for all the support

I agree. We all have these moments, I have them all the time as I know a lot of times my wording are misunderstood especially when you are trying everything so no expressions or tone can be read.

so there I was in the middle of The Package Tour - Boys II Men, 98 degrees, and New Kids on the Block coming together for one glorious night. I was actually not in the mood for the concert at all but after Boys II Men came out and did amazing, I was in full swing of remembering the 90s. 98 degrees did not age super well but were still very entertaining.

then intermission and I was sitting there with my girl friend who also happens to be friends with my ex (they became friends once we started dating) and she begins to tell me "you need to really think about what you did so you don't make the same mistakes" and "you need to recognize that you hurt people, not just the guy but other people around him because you weren't honest with yourself", etc etc.

I burst into tears and went to the washroom missing the first few songs of New Kids on the Block.

ugh. it was so frustrating and upsetting.

I returned to my seat and enjoyed the rest of the night...but ugh...

thankfully NKOTB came out in full swing with their "Step by Step, ooooh baby!!!" hahahaha.

OMG...look at the mess behind her lol....DS just got his keys a week ago to his own apartment in the same building and is taking his sweet time moving everything over lol so it looks like I'm a hoarder lol

My house is 10 times worse, I would probably scare with how bad my house looks not to mention everyone would be running off to fill our an application to put us on hoarder berried alive.

I am very sad to hear that other people's opinions are bringing my girls down. For the most part I care very little about what people think about me I have neither the time or the patience for their crap, but yesterday I got hit pretty hard. I have been in and out of the hospital since the 8th of may. Every specialist we meet said I was not going to make it, the cancer had spread all through my bowl and they had to install an illiostomy basically I am working off my small intestine food and liquid do not have the time to Obsorb into my body basically dehydrating and malnutritioning me. I was down to 78 pds. I couldn't convince anyone to help me they wanted to give me medication and keep me comfortable until I passed. Of course during this time my husband and my chain of command and our peer group seem very supportive. My husband was back and forth to the hospital, struggling to keep everything at home together and keep our kids from going over the deep end. During this he was often called and said this might be it so start making arrangements. I stopped breathing twice and had to intubated. I finally convinced them at the cancer centre to give me a chance to fight for my life, I spent two weeks in the hospital and was given a feeding tube port and am finally gaining weight and getting better. I personally am excited I am working on building my strength getting out and trying a little bike riding. So yesterday after my husband chain of command had told my husband don't worry about sick leave or anything just take care of your wife he is brought in. The start by saying people have seen you and Tami out, if she not going to die you need to come back to work, which is fine he has been off for about ten days in total and we new this was the time but its what they said after that blew my mind. The then went on to say people are upset because I have been seen out and people are mad because if I'm doing well we should be at work, I have been out of the hospital a week. The jest of the whole conversation is people are angry because they thought I was going to die and didn't. It made me wonder if people were only being nice because they though I was going to bite it, and how dare I try and get better. I'm probably over sensitive but I cried my eyes out over this, I mean really I don't want to die just to appease people, I really thought people would be happy that despite the odds I have pulled through for now.

sorry to rant thanks for listening, DH and I have decided to camp for another week and just commute in for the day. I just feel like right now everything I do is being judged. Heading to the corner with my gankie ( I call my blanket this short for skanky blanket because the pugs lay on it with me lol)

That is just wrong, I cannot believe they would do this. Does no one has compassion anymore. (((hugs))) armygirl.

Sadly my buddy did not send a package to me or my girls. However........

Some truly amazing, kind, thoughtful and generous ladies here went out of their way to make up amazing packages for both me and the girls. I am so touched that all of you took time out of your busy lives to do this for us. You absolutely made our day, week, and month!

Hi All! I seemed to have forgotten to sign out again. Was too tired yesterday after the gym to even log on. I see some comments there about commute times...mine is 10 minutes. I start at 8:30 and leave home a few minutes before 7 as Melissa drops and picks me up. That might be changing soon as she had an amazing job interview today. Sooo if she gets that job I will have to drive myself, park, walk a far distance to my elevator, etc. My workplace has parking issues so I would probably need to leave about 7:45am which I DON'T like because I LOVE my sleep. Ahh well. '

If she gets that job I will tell you all about it. Don't want to jinx it right now. We haven't heard anything from Matthew again, but he's coming home midnight tomorrow so I don't expect to. So excited to see him. Anyhoo..I need to catch up, hope y'all had a wonderful day!

Parking issues can be the worst, we used to have them at work and we had people parking on the grass along the edges of swamp. Luckily now we were able to purchase some land and turn it into a parking lot.

well for tomatoes I am apparently no help as I have watered my tomatoes this year up til the week-end and last year with a SEALED bottle of Miracle Grow and only realized last week-end when I removed the lid when taking the hose attachment off and saw the sealed remove me now tab...FML

LOL so something I would do.

It is great that everyone wanted to help, but since the person assured us she had sent, we wanted to wait to give her the benefit of the doubt then Pammie worked fast to get the gift out in time for opening day when the guestimated delivery date passed.

What does everyone have planned for the weekend?

This weekend I am trying to declutter my house, got my bros coming with one of our pick up trucks to do a dump run and haul away some furniture we do not want. Some will go to the dump some is being given to my brother's friend who just got his own place. Hopefully after this weekend We will have room to have a somewhat normal house again as right now we have too much of our own furniture for our house plus we have a bunch of Nanny's Antiques, My house really is a scary place right now.

This wknd we're going to try out our bikes and Alexa's new trailer. Don drove to get my old bike from my parents, and my dad's for himself (my dad's a runner but injured himself a few years ago, bought a fantastic bike and used it for one summer... works for us! ). So bexause of the type of suspension on my bike, Don said that the trailer wouldnt miunt on to mine. So I needed a new one. So, we got me a new bike. Get home, he mounts the trailer, and I comment on how it really would have worked on my old bike.

Now, I have two bikes. I'm totalky fine with it because I have one for when I'm riding with her and one for when I'm without, but not exactly the most cost effective way to do it all...

Here's a pic of Alexa in her new helmet. Hilarious. And yah, I already wrote in my "bad mom journal" for letting her sit in the front of the cart.

CLB- I am so sorry that your buddy did not send you a package The package that you sent for Milo looks amazing, and it's such a shame that you put so much into this package only to not receive one for your girls. I remember when I rode the Christmas Advent train a couple years ago (might have been the first time that train was done) and I did not receive a package (or a thank you from the person I sent to), I was so disappointed. At the time I was relatively new and I didn't really say anything about not receiving but it came up on the thread and I was stunned by the response of the other riders. I actually ended up receiving 3 packages!! It certainly helped to make it a more positive experience and it's nice to see that generosity is still going on for you=)

Trini, I garden (sort of) but am not an expert by any means. My method is to buy the seedlings, put in the ground, water when dry, and hope for the best. I think it might be my soil, tomatoes normally do really well, my cucumbers always struggle. This year, I have 2 zucchini that have exploded and taken over the garden (seriously, almost as tall as me!) and I have a serious weed problem. (Likely from the BF direct the lawnmower clippings toward the garden, eeek!)

I also planted tomatillos for the first time, hoping to try out some salsa verde.. google suggested it might not do so well in my area, but again, these guys are in a growth competition with the zucchini. Here's a few pics of my garden.. weeds and all.. you'll notice the little bed is supposed to be cukes, jalepenos and beets.. but they are slowly starting!

Oh, and if anyone has some great zucchini recipes, or canning ideas I'd love to see them, when I went out to take photos, noticed I have 12 zucchinis between the 2 plants that will be ready by the end of the weekend!

Wow! I'm super jealous that you went to this concert. I wanted to go sooooo bad but never ended up getting tickets. I'm a BIG NKOTB fan so to miss this was hard for me. I've seen them 3 times since they "came back" and I have not been disappointed. NKOTBSB was the best though as I loved them too! Nick and Joey on the same stage. YUM!!!

On another note, your "friend" sounds annoying. From what I read, you totally did the right thing no matter what people might say about it. They didnt' have to live with him.
