Oh boy! Feeling like such a dumb a$$ today.

So really late last night I was on Kijiji researching cars (I think mine is officially toast) and I thought I was forwarding 2 ads to my husband - well turns out I was emailing the sellers!

How dumb can you be? At least I didn't say anything inappropriate - mostly just "like the style, low kms, good price point" type stuff.

I didn't even realize until I got a response this morning asking if I wanted to set up a time to viewing. Soooo embarrassed! lol

Lola, we just did Candyland for DD's 1st. I think I mentioned it earlier, when you bought the game board favours.

I ended up going with primary colours for the plates...etc. b/c I could not find a good deal on themed items, just Amazon with outrageous prices (although you are better at the Swagbucks and GCs than I).

I did rainbow pop too. Not healthy, but it looked good with the different coloured cans lined on the table. Orange crush cans, Dr. Pepper, Grape, Gingerale.

I would buy candy after halloween if you have until December. I bought mine after valentine's day and got a really good deal. The kids made candy necklaces with o-shaped candies and did candy guesses. The balloons and cellophane were no fail lollipops too.

We're going to do a candy bar so I'll definitely be stocking up after Halloween!

I think I'll be going with bright colours for plates/napkins/cups since the only place I can find actual Candyland ones cost a fortune - US + S&H.

I was hoping to find candy decorations but its looking like I'll have to attempt making them. Thankfully I have loads of time to experiment. lol

morning everyone. nice and cool here today. our a/c that was just installed on Thursday is freezing up solid so the owner of the company that installed it is supposed to be coming by before 9. other than that, not a whole lot going on today. since its nice and cool I might set up the girls bounce castle to play on.

Feels so weird to be lounging on a weekday! lol

We've been so busy the past few weeks. Having no vehicle is forcing us to slow down. lol. Although I hate it! I'm borrowing my moms car for a few days this week - hopefully mine won't cost much to fix! Otherwise we'll be buying a new one when DH gets home.

Think I've narrowed down what I like: Dodge Caravan, Dodge Journey, Chevy Uplander. I just don't like the price tags. lol

I have a 2001 Dodge Caravan. lol. Have known for awhile I need to upgrade. Was hoping to save until Spring but might not have a choice now. Such a big decision. Hate choosing cars! If I find one I like, I want to keep it forever. lol

Good to hear the newer caravans are liked! We had a rental 2012 when my van was hit but it seemed so boxy.
