By the way morning lol..Still waiting for wreckless eating on youtube to air my fan package I sent in back in January. I think they finally were able to film it in the last couple weeks. It might air within the next 2 months.

Good morning! Last day here in Thunder Bay....the final visits of cousins and their kids, lunch with 'the girls'....then that looooong drive home tomorrow....Btw...I Posted earlier that the robber got 2k.....that's the reward, I think. Three would-be robbers smashed the glass door, but were surprised at the arrival of bank employees at 7am....they fled in a van.

Going to try my hand at kijiji again!! I need money so badly. But I must admit I have been doing silly things with money lately. I spent this weeks grocery money on tickets to Medieval Times But I need to make memories with just the 3 of us. Sounds dumb now

Sold one of the boys games and one of our Rogers PVR boxes-I cancelled cable. Lets hope both people come

Morning Everyone! Lazy Sunday here. Yahoo!

Yesterday was super busy. The birthday party was fun. It was DD's 2nd class party that she's attended. The weather was beautiful and they had a good turnout (15 kids in all I believe). I was surprised how many parents just dropped off and left though. Most kids were 4 so I think it's a little too young but that's just me. I stayed and helped out, which turned out nice because I got to know the mother and one of her friends (which turns out our kids went to the same preschool- her son is now in a different school but DD was excited to see him at the party).

I think I've decided a Candybar might not be the best way to go for her birthday. The kids are a little too... well, energetic! lol. So, I think I'll just give Candy as the game prizes. Since it's in the winter we'll have to be inside so I'm hoping to set up a nice kids table(s) in the living room and do games where they can stay seated. So far, I thinking:

1) Pass the Lollipop (kind of like Hot Potato) and each child will win one of those rainbow lollipops
2) Name That Candy - we'll give 1 clue at a time for a candy and the first child to guess wins that candy (each child will get 1 candy)
3) Gum Ball Guess - pretty straight forward but we'll have a jar of gumballs and the kids guess how many are in it. Closest gets to take the jar home.
4) Candyland Bingo - they have printables on etsy/pinterest etc. So, I'll have to find little prizes for 1 line. We'll play until time runs out (good way to keep kids busy while waiting for parents I think)
5) Decorate the Gingerbread Man

Between all those and then just playing, eating, presents, etc. I'm hoping it'll fill the time.

I've also found some great links for making decorations! I know it's super early but I like having time to prep, make decorations and find supplies so I'm not stressed at the last minute.

Hard to believe Summer is half way done! Where has the time gone?

DD is already talking about back to school. Need to start back to school shopping soon also. Thankfully the school provides all supplies this year so just clothes, shoes, etc.
