over $50 before coupons and paid $15 and change in the end

I was running low on my Avon Smooth Minerals Powder foundations, "nude" winter shade and my summer "sand beige" shade and was about to call my Avon lady today.
I love this stuff and I had some shades that I purchased that were either too dark or too light and didn't bother to return.
Sooo in an effort to save $25 I just went through all of the wrong shades and made my own shade! Sucess! I labelled it "concoction"
I love being thrifty!

I'm ready for DD's birthday party!

It's a Candyland theme and I already bought 10 board games for favors this past Summer. I found tons of cheap Candy today and did up little treat boxes, they will be prizes for Candyland bingo (all printed out and ready). Plus I found super huge lollipops which will be perfect for the Lollipop Pass game (pretty much hot potato). I also printed out Gingerbread cut outs so that everyone can decorate one (have a bin of markers, stickers, glue, glitter, google eyes,etc).

I ordered the invites today, cake was ordered last week, I dug out my Gingerbread man shaped tray (for veggies and dip) and have all the decorations.

So happy to be ready! And I still have a month!

I bought next year's Halloween costume, and it cost less than $10. I'll be Miss Piggy. Bought a pig nose for $2 and a blonde curly wig for $7. I'll just use a dress and pearls from my closet.

My daughter does that with nail polishes, as well as eye shadow to match her outfits.. she only has about 350 bottles of nail polish, lots of indies..

Last night @ 10pm one of the members (that I didn't know) of a coupon group I'm in, posted a panicked message because she was at Walmart and they would only let her use 6 like coupons. Her husband was with her but she had wanted to use 36 coupons in total. Oddly enough, we find out she is at a Walmart near me so I get my husband to come with me and we rush out there. As we are going in the store, my coupon buddy and her husband were leaving so I nab them to help her out as well. We all take some of her items and coupons and helped her use up all of the coupons. As we are leaving , her hubby gives us a bag containing 1 pack of tp and 2 rolls of paper towels.. so cute.. It was a really fun experience.
