Ford's fitness consultant convicted steroid trafficer, banned from coaching in Canada

A trainer who consulted with Rob Ford as recently as Tuesday night on a health “game plan” was convicted in the U.S. for steroid trafficking and is currently in the midst of a 12-year ban from coaching in Canada for administering steroids. The Toronto mayor has repeatedly said he is working with a team of health professionals following his admission of smoking crack while in a “drunken stupor.” Ford has not specified what that team includes other than to say it includes advice about his weight and he is not in an alcohol treatment program. Ford’s criminal lawyer, Dennis Morris, has said the mayor is spending up to two hours a day exercising, has revamped his diet and has received support from a medical doctor.

I think this hit the nail right on the head. For many, I don't think it's about what he wanted to accomplish or what his ideals as a politician are. It's that we can now see the type of man that he is.

the guy clearly does not know what are good choices, and what are bad choices.
he isn't simply a drunk and an addict. he has some screws loose, some marble missing etc.

If I'm not mistaken Harper is not only referencing Ford but is also taking a swipe at a certain pothead on the opposition side there.

So, Justice Ian Nordheimer has decided that the remaining information blacked out in the ITO should be released. This will also include information on the wiretaps. It won't be released until after December 6 at 4:30pm. This is to give the Crown time to appeal the decision to the Supreme Court.

Rob Ford "Sorry for paedophile comments"

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has apologised for implying during a recent television interview that a Canadian journalist was a paedophile.
Mr Ford had said he caught Toronto Star reporter Daniel Dale peering over his fence in May 2012.
Mr Dale said he was investigating property Mr Ford reportedly intended to purchase at the time.
The reporter pursued a libel lawsuit against the mayor for defamation.
On Tuesday, Mr Ford issued a public apology to Mr Dale, currently the Toronto Star's acting city hall bureau chief.
"I did not mean to insinuate anything about Mr Dale personally in my interview," he said in front of Toronto's city council.
"I certainly did not intend to suggest that he is a paedophile," he added. "I do not believe Mr Dale is a paedophile."
Mr Ford later blamed the news media for ascribing to him that specific word, which he "did not say".
