It's -24 now, but it was -31 this morning, and no relief for the next few days.

It's just been so very odd here - after having those weeks and weeks of -30s in December and into Jan, lately we have one or two -30 days, then up in the single minus or at least teens - such variations are so weird, very unusual for here.
End of January and into February are usually when we have the coldest temps each year.

Like today, it starts nice in the mid minus teens, but tonight windchill will be nearing -40.

Natalka, what schizophrenic weather you're having there! Our temps will be from -7 to -5 from today, for the next few days, so I'll take it! I watched the weather channel the other day and they had some expert on telling us the frigid temps will be here right into March. This is just a quick 'breather', I'm guessing. And I'm also guessing that there'll be no Spring, either, like last year! SO happy to be heading to Disneyworld in April: the light at the end of this tunnel!

On a more serious note, Avon's husband has been admitted into hospital for observation and tests..so please keep sending your prayers and healing thoughts their way. She's so exhausted and worried......

I'm off for my weigh-in, then to pick up a few groceries, then what every gal needs when she's on a diet, a pot-luck meeting this evening! And I'm bringing my "Too Much Chocolate" cake! Yay! At least I won't be tempted to eat it, I know how fabulous it is already...

It is indeed chilly willy out there.. contractors in replaced a water tank.. and even they were trying to warm their hands.. thankfully Mothernature and Jack frost don'g argue to often.. and the weather will warm up.

-33 with windchill today - I remember back in Dec when we had -30 for the first time, I kept DS at home instead of sending him to school cuz it was "too cold" - but now, he's been going to school during every -30 something day... seems like -30 is becoming the norm now for this winter.............. *sighs* i miss -20, lol (never thought I would say that)

I know what you mean. I remember the day went it was -40 and I thought it was too cold, now every morning it's -30+, and that has now become the norm.

Happy chilly Wednesday.
It's so cold, but I feel that I shouldn't complain, because a lot of places are still much colder.

DH's work used to send them home if it was -25 or worse. Now because they need the job done he has to work. He's worked the past 6 days outside even with the windchill and snow squall warnings. CRAZY! No way would I do it. I don't even like standing outside for 15 minutes waiting for DD to get out of school. lol

My countdown to Spring is seriously underway. Only a few more months right???
