Thanks is the rate guaranteed for a certain period like a year or as long as you have the account opened and then does the interest rate drop low like other banks, that is where I am wondering if it's worth opening depending on how long that 2.5% rate lasts.

Yes, I think it is worth it to get 2.5%. We are not loyal to any one bank. Just like we all shop for deals at the store, this is just shopping for deals in the bank.

As long as the item code does not end in 99 (means special order, learned that from a girl who used to work there) or the ad does not say limited quantities you should have no problem getting a rain check.

Or if your CT is like mine the moment you ask for the rain cheque they find some lol.

Will they give me one on that? Because I really want another one! Ok, I will go back tomorrow and if they don't have them back instock the I will ask for one, Thanks!

I have gone over my numbers for January, our groceries Break Down as follows:

Regular Price would have been $$446.90
Sale Price was $248.70 (this includes anything I had to pay full price for, like Milk)
Coupons Used $21.00
Total Spent on Groceries $227.70
Total Savings $219.18

So at the end of the month I saved almost 50% on groceries.

can't say the same. for as much as we 'saved' on PM on groceries.. it was spent at the local pub.

I was below our budget for groceries this month also at $261.58 and coupons used $67.40. It would have been more but I don't count GC's or PC points anymore as the go straight on the LOC. Already managed to put another $30.00 on it yesterday.

I have been busy moving my stockpile from the far end of the basement to our safe room after of course I got DH to move the shelving units. Looks so much nicer in there rather than against the concrete wall in the furnace room. Now off to unload the dishwasher and stick some ribs in the crock pot.

Just picked up a few things today, only spent $10 and change. Would have been $25+ before coupons and PMing. And received 1200 PC plus points Went to fill up the propane tank and the price last year was $17 now the price is $20. Having steak and baked potatoes on the bbq with greek salad for dinner. Then a date at the movies. We have free admission coupons and coupons from the taco kits for free popcorn etc. Bringing a can of pop from home Free night
