well got off my butt, whites are washed and need to be hung.
Got the double batch of brownies all made up and I have no flour
so it's in the fridge and dh will have to pick some up tomorrow on his way home.
So decided to bake my fish for supper tonight in the oven since the oven was already at 350 because of the brownies (frugal thing to do) since the oven is already warmed up.
Thanks Frugalmama yes it's nice to get rid of the stuff and make $, normally we just donate but I took these items out of the boxes to donate and thought, why not the smart ladies on this thread do it. DS1 will be over the moon tonight to get his train cash, let's see how long it takes before he wants to go shopping
, he's not a saver like his little brother but we try and put things in perspective wants vs. needs cost of the time and how long it takes to get the cash etc...
lizzie I bet your daughter will love those oatmeal cookies on her 3 day trip, nice tip to be going on (Lake Louise) I was there many moons ago and it's so beautiful. And yes let's hope the temperature warms up for her and her classmates but what an experience/class trip to go on
. Is Lake Louise far from you guys?
Mrs. S. hope you got some goodies today at Michaels and yes good plan to go today as they are forecasting snow again tomorrow.2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

Hi friends. Chatty today. I have been spending my flyer time doing online selling in prep for our move. I honestly just looks for my staples and then PM so flyers is about 10 min/week. I have been spending about 10 min per day dealing with buy and sell stuff.

Avon glad to know that you're home and that DH is on the mend.
Don't worry about the cost of the hotel, it's a small price to pay for being there with him.
Don't worry about canceling the trip, you can always rebook once he's OK.
Take care of yourself, as you're taking care of DH.Last edited by LuvToUseCoupons; Tue, Feb 4th, 2014 at 03:41 PM.

I spend about an hour each week to go through the flyers and make my list and put the coupons together.
I do not do checkout 51, or any of these online rebates.
I make a written master list stating which store, then the item, and then the price.
Coupons are then pulled, I will then write the store and the price on a piece of paper, and paper clip it to the coupons, all coupons are then placed in a zip lock bag.
An example of last week list would be:
No Frills
Tetley tea (144's) $4.97
Boneless/Skinless Chicken Breast $2.77lbs
Armstrong Cheese (500g) $4.33-$1 (then I would pull out the $1 Armstrong coupon and write No Frills and the price of $4.33 on a piece of paper, then use a paper clip and attached the paper to the coupon.
So even if I don't go in to No Frills, but if I go into Walmart I can just pick it up and go to the cash, knowing that I want to PM it to No Frills as i have the coupon store/price already attached.

Well FBM , then you are even smarter than me. I always give it to my sister in law when I am done and then she passes it onto her young adult kids. Maybe next time it expires I can ask her if she wants to order it and then pass onto me!! I was just reading the last page of the Feb issue about a Canadian couple in their 40's who moved from Manitoba to Ecuador and live comfortably on 1,000 per month-count me in!!

J and C-Lake Louise is a 2 hour drive from our house so not bad. I might drive them tomorrow but it looks like there are enough parent volunteers already signed up.

well my word you ladies have been as busy as us all.
ds 1 and 2 are hard at work til after dinner..
dh is gone to work til morning.
and I just got back from Michaels' its an hours bus ride but well worth it.. I normally can't take 'advantage' of them too much as their 40-50% off coupons are one customer/ per day
however... today they sent me an email that one of the products I LOVE and NEED for my projects is on for 50% off..
NO limit.. well I hopped that bus faster than a bunny.
picked up two of every color plus some.
i had saved up some money and opened a paypal to buy this stuff on line.. plus shipping and duty.. blah blah.
well at this price.. i scored.
unfortunately that means i have NO excuse now to get my butt in gear and complete all the projects i have 'on hold'.
good thing is if i can sell them. time will tell as that goal is not for a few weeks at a local market.
anyway. haven't seen any flyers yet.. will see what this Friday brings besides our new mattresses. LOLBe Strong
Be True
Be You.
Simple as that!
