Lego movie - 6/10
DD (5) wanted to go so I took her (apparently all her friends were talking about it). I felt like it was more geared toward adults with the humour. There were some parts I found funny but overall it was just okay. The last 10 minutes or so was the best part of the whole move IMHO.

agh!!! JUST finished watching Veronica Mars ( the movie) Oh I was such a junkie for the tv show, so glad the movie got made!!
Rating def. 10 out of 10, but then I am so biased. I had no idea pay per view was just that easy to order. My DD and I loved it!!

The latest Thor installment, The Dark World... 7/10
It was really difficult to hear the dialogue as it was too quiet while the action sounds were way too loud. I suppose it sounded very good in the theater but at home it was just plain annoying. As for the movie itself, it was ok, good... same as the first one.

The Rite (2011) Anthony Hopkins, and the dude who plays Hook on Once Upon a Time (cool to see him in such a different role) - 5/10
Set in Italy, so that was nice - about exorcism, parts a bit too gory for me.

Not really a movie but each episode is 2 hours long like a movie so I'll post my comments here...
Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbach - 10/10 for each episode.
Just discovered the series this past month. Showcase broadcast season 3 which is only 3 episodes long but boy are they ever well done.
Benedict (Kahn in Star Trek, Into Darkness) is a great actor and suited to play Sherlock Holmes. Set in Modern London.
I understand that the fellow who plays John Watson was in the Hobbit?I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

Question: anybody seen Noah?
Reason: rottentomates.com rates it at 72% (high rating) but the general public rated it 52% (meh).
We were thinking of seeing it.
Thanks

Yes we did last night and the theatre was packed solid. We left the house late so another viewing for us from the 4th row from the front, lol.
You feel like you are back in Sunday school at times with the repetitiveness of the apple/original sin story and the bloodshed /gore is always disturbing for me, no matter what flick it is. The actors all did a wonderful job and Russell was a great choice for Noah. Also one thing I noticed in this longish movie ( over 2 hrs) was you could have heard a pin drop through the entire thing, which makes me chuckle cuz it is not like we don't know how it ends, ha ha the audience seemed to be glued to the screen hanging on every word, including me.
Hope that helped Shwa
