LOL! When I read this post to DH he literally jumped off the couch and beat me down the stairs so we could go check out the deal at Target. We bought about $75 worth of cheese for about $25. He is a serious cheese connoisseur and is appreciating my new couponing hobby. Thanks for this!

Just a little brag, but enough to make me happy: got up early on Good Friday for an RCSS grocery run to use my seven precious Barilla coupons with their $0.98 per box sale. There was a limit of four so hubby bought 3 and I bought 4. Luckily the cashier didn't mind. It was early and not busy. Bought some brussel sprouts for $1.86/lb and used snapsaves to get $1 off. But I think the best part was that the coupon zone actually had 3 Unilever ice cream tearpad coupons left when I arrived! Yahoo!

Free bottles of pop at 7-Eleven with the app (on different days). Walking LO there and back while picking up cans and bottles for recycling. I like free. The pop is now sitting at the bottom of my pantry.

This is by no means a "deal" but more of a customer service story/sigh of relief.
Logged online to check my Mastercard account and was floored when I saw a charge of $18.17 interest. Confused and panicked as I literally always pay my balance rounded up to the next dollar AND a week in advance. Called the number on the back of my card and the girl I spoke with explained to me that I had shortpaid my March statement by a whopping $2.13, whoops. Their policy is to charge 19.99% interest on the FULL BALANCE until it's finally paid in full. I explained that my account has always been in good standing and this was an isolated incident. She wouldn't budge so I hung up and logged onto my bank's website to make a measly $3 bill payment.
Was sitting here beating myself up over the mess-up and playing around on Excel trying to figure out exactly how their interest was calculated. I couldn't get the exact same amount as MC so I called their phone line again just to ask about the math calculation (finance major here, couldn't let this go). Got a different CS and he went into my account, noted my flub, recognized my good history and voluntarily reversed the interest penalty! Yay! He then tried to upsell some of their other accounts. I usually shoot them down immediately but he was super nice and helpful so I humored him and stayed on the line and acted interested until finally telling him I would think them over.
