Haunish

Butter Tart Filling 1 (Margaret H)
1/3 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. cream (I like to use evaported 2%)

Place ingredients in saucepan, on low heat until butter is melted. (I do mine in a large glass measuring cup on low in micro.)

Add the following to butter and sugar mix (beat while adding)

1/2 cup currants (I put my currents in the tart shells first, then I know everyone gets same amount - roughly - lol) optional - I HAVE USED PECANS/WALNUTS INSTEAD
1 beaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat well, and spoon into unbaked tart shells.

Bake 350F until filling bubbles and shell is light brown.

Use Sweet Pastry #1

Trip to town was good. Started out rough ... our backroads are slippery and rutty, if I left the ruts, the car was pulled to side. The highway was clean, however, some reduced visibiity. Town itself wasn't too bad. So all in all it was pretty good. Course things did improve once I realized I was only doing 50 on the hwy! lol ... good thing it was quiet! I'll make myself go out tomorrow too ... thanks for all the words of encouragement!!!

[kekes]

decided to do install ... later ppl! thanks for words too!!!!!

The bands I saw in concert are:

Platinum Blonde
Haywire (2x)
Doub & The Slugs (3x)
Def Leppard
Brian Adams
Sass Jordan
Extreme
The Steve Miller Band
Richard Marx
Wilson Phillips
Honeymoon Suite
Tesla

Something tells me I MAY have seen Glass Tiger but am not 100% sure. I can't remember who had opened up for Honeymoon Suite, maybe it was them.

I think I named them all. I can't remember, so many years ago!!!

Saw Sass Jordan twice, but def not a fan. 1st time, she was part of an all day concert with Moxy Fruvous, Extreme, Steve Miller, capped off with Bryan Adams. Sass Jordan was on at 2pn & literally fell off the stage drunk. On the plus side, when I heard Moxy Fruvous, I vowed that if I ever got married, My Baby Loves A Bunch Of Authors would be my wedding song.

Second time I saw Sass Jordan, she opened for Richard Marx. This time 8pm, still fell down drunk. Ugh.

Dragged my mom to see Richard Marx when my friend cancelled last minute & she had a blast. Seen him 3x. Lots of fun.

Sounds like you had some fun, though, given your choices.

Thanks a bunch kekes!!

[rebate queen]

Hi guys, need to vent.

Anyone have any good ways of dealing with a difficult neighbour? Suffice to say that he's a criminal who, despite his protests to the contrary, is unwilling to reform. If anyone dares say anything that isn`t glowing about him, he spreads nasty rumours & threatens lawsuits. I just ignore the twit (I`ve overheard him say nasty things about me), but he`s targetting a couple of elderly unwell neighbours who are frightened. Oh, and he`s clever enough to not leave any trail, so it`s impossible to get authorities involved (despite his criminal background).

Can anyone think of a better solution to deal with the nitwit besides a not-so-gentle push in front of a large truck with giant tires?

Become the same thing to him as he is to all these other people....and then send me a plane ticket. I'll come up there and kick his azz....I'm in an azz kickin deficit lately...so I really need the numbers.

I have my three trees all decorated and lit up along with my candles in the windows...I also hung up my
curtain lights and it's sooo pretty!

OMG...my halloween stuff is in the middle of my living room....still

lets have a few minutes of silence, and pray for rebate queen who just gave me rep for a post back on 1164!

we hope you get caught up soon!

lmao!!!!! I'm trying!!

I TOTALLY agree with you about Billy Ray!!! I love that video. Can't believe that's his oldest son Trace (teenager in video) . He doesn't look alot like Billy Ray.

this is the latest pic of my chihuahua, she is 3 1/2 years old and weighs between 4-5 lbs

[stardreamer7880]

wow babyG that is an amazing talent you have there I would of guessed you'd been at it for years, great job!!!

Loved the video LOLcat and no it isn't just your pregnant hormones lol unless I'm impossibly pregnant (no plumbing left to get that way!)

Thanks for the words and all the recipes can't wait to get to feeling better and trying a couple of them especially the cookie ones.

RQ as always great to see you on! lol don't feel bad if I'd had halloween decorations up they would probably still be in the middle of my living room too! DH has been doing most of the housework that has been getting done lately and omg I don't understand lmao! Why oh why does he put everything on the floor in a corner that doesn't belong anywhere in particular. Never just tosses catalogs in the garbage NO just piles them up in corners NUTZ! Can't complain tho since he does at least make an attempt.
Wow you have seen a lot of concerts would love to see the Rolling Stones their Hard Rocks album is the first record I ever bought.

Kekes so glad you made it home safe and sound. It sounds horribly cold there and here I am freezing my butt off without all the snow and ice. Couple days ago it was in the 70's today only made it into the 40's I think.

Love2save she's so cute! My Mollie dog as tiny when she was little but she got up to 8 pounds. Still a little cutie tho, love how small dogs stay cute, my little girl is always mistaken for a puppy still.

[Love2save]

Baby--amazing job with the fruit!!

Kekes--I am going to try this recipe too. I always use corn syrup also in mine so this will be a change, thanks for posting it
