Forget September--with the coupons/specials from this week's emails (thanks, OB, for getting them up), there's hardly any AM offers NOW. Glad I got some value by burning through some miles on the EAuction, despite what they say, I'm starting to agree with y'all: AM program is going downhill, FAST.

I haven't, but if it's like previous gift card coupons (buy a 50$ card get 40AM in this case), they didn't have any problem doing multiple purchases separately. So you should be able to print off a few coupons, redeem each separately, and get 5$ off each one.

Thanks! I had only printed one coupon, but the young teller was happy to just put them through as separate transactions(her idea)! I was pleased as our Safeway ladies are mostly grouchy and very unhelpful! I find the younger the better!
hubby buys lots at Canadian Tire and I couldn't buy as many as we needed in Nov when Shoppers had bonus points attached to them. So, this promo is awesome!

Ugh Safeway is going downhill fast thanks to Sobeys. The prices are all jacked up and with weird amounts. The meat has changed and obviously comes from some other supplier. The weekly coupons really blow as well. Sometimes they have the odd good one, but mostly useless especially the Facebook ones.

Ok the opportunist in me did a happy dance at the sobey's closing. The realist in me is flat on my back with it out of place again and wants to smack the opportunist around a bit.

Happy Canada Day, you lot! Hope you enjoy the fireworks, festivities, family fun, etc.

Since I know none of you will shopping at Safeway today (since all stores are presumably shut tight), those 10%ers are not out of luck--was reading on their social media yesterday (!)--they finally figured out Customer Appreciation Day won't be today--it has been re-scheduled to next Tuesday, the 8th.

You really have to wonder how mis-informed so many are at that company to let a mistake like this make it into print (their flyers/ads, etc). It makes one wonder why they still have jobs.

At any rate, keep your powder dry for next Tuesday (if there's any deals to be had), enjoy the first real day of summer!!
