That's so awesome. It must have taken quite a while to grow it out that long. My hair takes forever to grow out.

Thank you for the links! I am also about to have mine chopped off for donation, but didn't know where to send it. Now I just need to find someone who is reasonably priced to cut it. I'm happy to donate my hair, but I'm not willing to give an arm or a leg for the cut

Patty, that's why I chose that one! I didn't know about the other someone else posted about.
Last time when the salon did it, they gathered it up over time I think from various clients, and it went to Locks of Love, but there's no Canadian link for it now. But that was years ago.
dizzy, I have always gone to Ultracuts, but they are closed Sundays - and that's when I decided - so I went to Magicuts. $20, plus a fiver for a tip because she spent a LOT of time with me.

Oh Natalka, just read the whole thread over. Wow that took some time to get your hair long enough to beat your former donation, way to persevere! The hair looked so pretty, ( healthy and strong!) not a gray on in the bunch ( lucky ageless you!!)
I forget the name of the place I sent my DD's hair to, but they sent her a thank you certificate within 2 days!
Congrats again in giving such a precious gift to someone.

Great donation!
I havenn't been able to grow mine long enough since I last donated it, it seems to max out at 6 inches past the length I want it
Keep an eye out, sometimes salons do days where they do cheap cuts if you donate - but you have to meet all the requirements of no hair dye etc
