Lee-one of my all time favorite songs is Madrigal by Rush. It is majorly obscure, very dated and short but it is more like musical poetry than an a song and extremely beautiful words
Then I was thinking I thought I had read a post a while back that mentioned Peter Gabriel and "Your Eyes" as having special meaning for you

Good day all . This talk of wedding music reminded me of ours in Vzla in 1993. "Everything I do" Bryan Adams was the main song; but the Kween's fave was (I love you, you pay my) "Rent" Pet Shop Boys

Good Morning.I will say good bye now I as I will not be able to be on later. I hope your weather gets a little warmer here. Had a tough time yesterday, talked to my buddy in Calgary and he’s not doing very well at all. Feel I should be going out there, but we are going over to Scotland because the wife’s mother not doing great. Dam it sucks to be old. Though there was a point when I young when I said the opposite. Oh how the times changes.
I’m going to try and get on if I can from over there. My worry is The Who will announce the next leg of the tour and I will miss the ticket sale.So if anybody hears something please post it.
Jester thanks for the two great tips.
Mechman – your clean your ducks bought back a memory. Back in 1988, my wife, who was my girlfriend at the time were renting a house in Willowdale. The owner decide he was going to sell the place, so we came to an agreement where we would gut the place and redo the hardwood floors in loo of three month’s rent, that way we could save for the next down payment. Well I got this call from a carpet cleaning company guy who was really pushy, and just would not shut up. Saying you would be bad parents if you let kids play and live in an environment with dirty carpets and drapes. But if they could just come in and give a demonstration he could show how great there product was plus we will give you a free BBQ.Well he pushed and pushed and I was nice and agreed with everything he said. I told him we had ripping everything out, but he said he could find something to demonstrate on, so I said fine no problem come on over. Well I hang up and the wife looks at me like what the hell are you doing. Why were you so nice and we have, no carpets or drapes left in the house. I said the door mat pretty dirty and we get a free BBQ. She said you’re evil, I said no, just stoned! Well the guy shows up and hauls out this big blood machine and comes up to the door. I invite him in and show him around and tell him like I said there are no carpets. Well mister pushy was not to happy cleaning that door mat, but dam. It did a great job; we must have had the cleanest door mat in the Willowdale. But alas with our mat clean we had no need for the machine. I told as he was leaving and had given me, my brand new folding Hibachi BBQ try and be nice to people and they will be nice back. And that BBQ leads to some good memories. The picture attached is me the wife and my Scottish buddy (who I will be partying within one week) firing the big BBQ UP
Alohamom - have a great vacation
