Today I'm thankful for my dear friend Tara. That her new meds helped her rest and make it through a night for a restful sleep. I'm thankful that the lord is keeping her safe and standing by her as she braves the ocean of doubt and uncertainty in front of her.

Thankful my dear friend is arriving for a visit today. I haven't seen her in 10 years.

Today I'm thankful that I'm feel good, my pain is very low today and I had a GREAT sleep last night (very unusual for me to get more than 3 or 4 hours)!

Ah, lol...thankful for yet another grandson story: our DD related that our grandson lost his first tooth yesterday at swim camp. Literally. He lost it. So she told him no problem, he simply has to draw a picture of a tooth or a smiley face with a tooth missing, and slip it under his pillow.
"You want me to trick the tooth fairy?!"
No, she said, kids often lose their teeth, and this is just another way to let her know that you lost one.
This morning he found a twoonie under his pillow and yelled, "Mom! Dad! She bought it!" ...lol!

I think I'll sew him a Tooth Fairy pillow with a little pocket on it....

LOVE that story! My oldest literally lost her very first tooth in the woodchips on the playground at school. She wrote the tooth fairy an apology note. Later on, she decided she wanted to keep her tooth AND still get paid so she wrote another note asking if it would be possible to keep the tooth but still get the money. LOL. Good ness. Now that they don't believe, I sure do miss those moments!!

Today I am thankful for this good life and for all my fantastic friends here at SC. What a wonderful lot of people you are!

Today I'm thankful that all my children are actually STAYING near their homes and not travelling the bi-ways and highways this long weekend. It's scary, everybody wants that last great trip before the kids head back to school and it always ends in tragedy for someone. Stay safe my friends and be ever so careful this long weekend
