August 24 - and really had no choice other than to put the heat on this morning - crazy!
And I'm the one who doesn't mind it cool, but I was freezing! Husband couldn't stop laughing... he's the one who likes it much warmer than I do.

In QC those last 2 days was 27 degre with humdex 32...I needed to put the AC on.Glad it is a portable one.

You'd have to ask the Pharmaprix/Shoppers people, cath007, about the lack of coupons. Could it be a Regie issue? It seems in some provinces, SCers get points on certain items/groceries but not in ON and other things. So perhaps each province's rules factor into restrictions/exclusions.

I went to SDM today and before the cashier totalled off my order I asked her if my coupon for spend 75 save 20 went through and she said yes. Then she cashed it all off (2:24pm according to the receipt) and I looked at the receipt and it said the coupon didn't work and since I had redeemed points she had to call someone up. I wish this was an exaggeration but after her getting me to stand by the counter while she rang through other customers, then telling me to get in line (wish she would have told me to do that innitially), then scanning through all my items to refund them and realizing she didn't do it right so she cancelled the refund, then complaining and calling her head cashier (who also complained about how she is too busy to help since she is doing an audit), then figuring out how to do a refund, then scanning all my items back in (overall she had to make seven calls for help, 2 to one person, 3 to another, and 2 to another peson, during this whole thing) it was 3:14pm. If I didn't have the receipts to prove it I never would have believed it would take 50 minutes for someone to give someone $20.00. Definitely the worst service I have ever had at a Shoppers.

Today I went to yay on what is that....on my mcdonals coupons....The 50% off Wrap Signature does not include the Asiatic one,And only 1 coupon in the booklet.....and no you cannot printing online the 50% off ,it is not there...

The trio where included the McWrap Signature before...not now...it was too advantageous.....
I am not a happy camper..

I fell down my basement stairs about a month ago. I sliced the muscle in my arm and hurt my back. For the past month I have been in terrible pain. Life has to go on though. So my rant is that even though I am almost bedridden and in the most pain of my life, my kids continue go leave their crap all over the house for me to clean up. You would think that because I am hurt due to their laziness that they would be a bit more tidy. Roll on back to school.

Have had almost no internet since Monday, will work for about 5 mins if you reset it and used half a GB of data trying to do stuff to get ready for school on my phone. Luckily my billing cycle ended yesterday as I was at my limit. And my laptop is misbehaving. So no laptop for school next week until I get my OSAP. And to top it all off having a painful few days. Being in pain sucks. Having such a wonderful week :-(

Have had a cold for 3 days now, women troubles on top of that and two rowdy loud ass kids that don't know the meaning of indoor voice...at what age do they start school again??

Guys left dishes, bbq racks etc unwashed. And went to snooze, with door unlocked. Mom and I came home and the door's unlocked.
Did some dishes. Put away a pot and what the %$##-Dad left a small roast in a large steel lidded pot on the shelf with clean cooking pots. Told him if I ever see this again, all of it will go in the garbage. (I noticed he was washing his dinner dishes after that little message.) He claims he was keeping it away from flies (darn, it's too hard for a man with meat on his mind to put leftovers away-NOT).

Mom did not buy one top and skirt that looked great because she had an issue with both of them-SIGH. But she did like a clearance linen top, so small win/unrant there. That's the last time this year I go clothes shopping with her. Should I win a gift card to the store or the mall, I'll give it to her and spare myself another afternoon of browsing and fussing.

Lunch-hey, Taco Bell gave me coupons* for future Taco Bell and KFC meal offers with my value combo order! This was at Mapleview Centre, Burlington ON. Thanks!
