Good early morning!
Wow...not hurting my knee sometime at night by turning over, etc really makes for a good night's sleep! No waking up in pain and having to take a pain pill then wait for it to go away before I fall asleep again has been the norm....I hope this is a sign I'm improving!

So, what's on everyone's agendas today? Fighting the crowds at the malls? {{{shudder}}} Although, truth be told, I actually do enjoy shopping right up to the 24th...it's like a treasure hunt....

Just stay safe and take your patience with you if you head out.

AVON...wow that was quite the line-up at M&Ms! My hubby went out to pick up a few of those shrimp rings and didn't mention that it was particularly busy...I'll have to ask...

I've just discovered how lovely it is to be up really early to apply a deep, blood-red nail polish without having a pup on one's lap! Haha! This application may actually dry without any dings in it!

Husband went after work to M&M to pick up chicken wings, said it was very busy.

I'm hoping to bake today, fingers crossed!

Happy shortest day of the year! More Sun tomorrow than today!
We had our Christmas "Cantata" at church this morning. Although I hadn't been able to get to a lot of practices, the choir director encouraged me to go. It actually did sound quite lovely!

I am pooped, though, because I woke up at 6:30 in anticipation of the alarm going at 8:30 and didn't get back to sleep until about 8:10- then turned off the alarm and...fell back asleep for 20 minutes. So rush to get to church!

We are in need of so many "essentials" - like bandades and drain cleaner and baking soda and vinegar (since I tried to clean the drain that way) and Tylenol and milk and dog food. We have not been shopping for so long since one or the other of us has been out of commission.

Good morning! Two consecutive sleeps right thru the night with no knee pain, so up early!

Avon: Sunshine? {{{Sunshine...think, think, think....}}} ...nope. I've got nothing.
Temps out there have been great for this time of the year, expecting rain (die, snow!) but not much Sunshine. As for the days getting longer, I understand that in theory, but why does it take so long to get bright again when the darkness seems to descend in a matter of hours and stay for months! Gr.

This is THE happiest puppy dance in history!! He or she sees its owner after
being in puppy day care....when it jumps up and down...JOY PERSONIFIED!!!ENJOY!!!

Thinking of my wonderful Dad who passed away this day, many years ago....still loved, admired and missed so very much...

Hugs to you, my friend! I miss my dad and mum at Christmas time, too! How very sad that his passing was so close to the holiday itself! That must have been very hard for your family!
