I would panic, I can almost guarantee it. I don't handle crisis situations very well The thing is, though, people were told to stay off the roads and they went out anyway. If the weather was like that here I know I wouldn't be leaving the house! I know some people have no choice but those that do... well, they're taking their lives in their own hands.

We got a bit more today, but just some fluffy stuff, no knee-deep here, and it's supposed to go up to +2 on the weekend, which is just so nice for our Santa parade...it's been so frigid other years.

Well, the game's on, so time to pour myself a nice glass of wine and watch with hubby; I've been deciding on hotels in Washington this spring...apparently hubby already booked our flight, so I'd better make sure we have somewhere to stay!
The Churchill looks nice....anyhoodles...stay inside, stay warm and dry everyone!!!

We might get a little more of that white crap, but worse will be that we might get rain as it's warmed up here somewhat - and that means driving will be nasty.

Even though it's not an icky weather today, I'm on a mission to make comfort foods for supper - both borscht and nalysnyky. Mention of those was enough to get our son over here on a Friday evening, lol! (usually I don't tell him ahead of time, but I thought it was an awesome bribe for today!).

OMGOMG!!! Nalysnyky??!!!Um....sooooo....it's 8:30 here, so it's 5:30-ish there....what time's dinner??!!
I haven't made nalysnyky in such a long time....it's not exactly diet food, but omg.....I should make that as an entree course when we have our DD and her hubby and grandson over for dinner closer to Christmas; she'd be floored!!!

Ooh, my....they're crepes with a sweet/savory filling of cheese (my Mom added some sugar to it), topped with a sweet sour cream, and baked...absolutely decadent!!!
Of course, every Mom and Baba had their own variations, but that's the basics....
