I dunno, Lynn - dipping into below -40 windchill like today hasn't happened here for a while, we were keeping rather steady on the just below -30s, then we'd have 'average' temps for a few days - just to tease us!
The only saving grace is BRIGHT SUN!That's good for the mental health, for sure!

Amira- Dirt and grass that would be wonderful to see right now! You will have to show us pics of your garden.
Padyofurniture- I've heard of that program and also Classic Shell to make it look like Windows 7. I tried Classic Shell and didn't mind it. I prefer Windows 7 program.
Natalka- I hope it warms up soon. Freezing here too. Supposedly -45 with windchill overnight. Brrr.Last edited by toban; Sun, Feb 22nd, 2015 at 11:32 AM.

@Natalka . -40 windchill? Isn't it colder than a freezer? OMG?
my husband is in whitehorse, Yukon and i think it's not that bad there either. Eastern Canada has got bad luck thus year in terms of snow.
And may i ask what's happening with the sleep at night? I have heard that sometimes warm glass of milk helps in getting a nice sleep. How about that?
Thanks everyone to appreciate my dirt and grass. You know i HATE the smell of grass. But i HAD to do it this year. We have been thinking about setting up the flower bed since we moved here 3 yrs ago but the problem was........... my hubby's sleep!
He keeps saying that he will work on it when he takes his vacation from work. When it's his vacation time he stays awake almost all night watching movies or playing games on ps4. Then of course he has to sleep all day because he couldn't sleep at night. So that's how productive my hubby is at home! Lol
Will post more pics when i plant flowers on Monday. Hopefully hubby will like it.

Good morning!
Doing a quick posting because puter is unreliable at this point.
Son came over yesterday and spent the latter part of aft and all evening doing a full system restore/reboot - whatever it's called. He worked hard and it took hours and hours, and apparently it's not all done, because things are going on and missing, etc. so the puter works, but not the way I would like it to. He'll come again and finish up.
I've been very frustrated for the past three hours!
So a HI for now - and hoping that everyone has a great day.

Good morning!
Sunny here, too, doc's appt today; great timing, I can't shake this bronchitis, so I'm really happy to see our GP today....I need more drugs. I'm resting my leg because I tried pushing myself by going up our 4 stairs like a normal person while ignoring my physiotherapist's voice in my head saying, "If it hurts, stop doing it." I just pushed thru the pain thinking I'm getting stronger, but nope! My knee swelled to twice it's size and it feels like I pulled something behind it. So much for trying to push my recovery before Washington in April. Grr.
Um....Walks, Honey......that cute little doggie is a baby girl.

Our son looked FAB in pink sleepers when he was a baby!
Husband looks very handsome when he wears a light pink shirt with a grey suit...
Son as an adult looks amazing in bright pink - must be the colouring or something...
Why stifle the doggies?
