My daughters dresser was in bad shape, I didn't really have the money to get her a brand new one at the moment either so I checked out kijiji. I found a prefect solid wood dresser for free, but it was outdated and quite dark for my little one. I went to Home Depot and found a purple mistint can of paint for $1! Done!!
I spent one day sanding, painting and 'distressing' it to suit my taste (I had the white paint already). I think it came out looking amazing, and it only costed me $1 and a day of my weekend. Attached are the before and after pics, I am so in love with it and more importantly so is she!
I have have been working on its little bookshelf today, I plan on selling this one and seeing how that goes. This thread is currently associated with: Home DepotLast edited by Frugal Lisa; Tue, Jun 9th, 2015 at 02:55 PM.
