Rolls yesterday, second time this weekend that I baked them. The recipe I'm using originally said it made 6, then I started maknig 10, yesterday's batch was 15. More reasonable size!
But wait, it was the third time I made the dough. I put the ingredients in the bread machine yesterday just as we were going out. A couple hours later we were out having lunch and I said, "Y'know, I can't remember putting yeast in the pan." Hoped that i did it on autopilot, but nope, didn't do it. Nice dough, but didn't rise at all.Last edited by Zonny; Mon, Jun 1st, 2015 at 10:37 AM.

double recipe of Rhubarb & Strawberry Crisp. the Americans from New York and Vermont States came to our town this morning to Commemorate the War of 1776-1783 where a lot of the fighting was done along the Richelieu River. Our local Legion provides a light lunch. I made 3 desserts: the Rhubarb & Strawberry Crisp, Banana Cake, and a Walnut Spice Cake.

I made this cake for a staff birthday celebration.
Hmmm... Sorry! I have no idea why it's posting upside down, nor how to fix it...I didn't serve it this way. Lol
It's a chocolate, 3-layer cake with a peanut butter icing between the layers and a sinful chocolate frosting on the top and sides. I added chopped mini Reeses, chocolate covered peanuts, and honey roasted peanuts between the layers and to garnish the top of the cake. The chocolate-peanut butter combo is a very popular one with my staff members.

I baked a double batch of banana oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with LO last weekend. He is very proud of helping me measure. He'll turn 3yrs old in September.
We plan on making banana chocolate chip muffins later today. He wants to do some more measuring.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

I bought some Laura Secord milk chocolate spread several weeks ago at Costco as they were reduced. Found I don't like chocolate spreads lol
So, I was looking up nutella recipes and came across 3 ingredient brownies. Perfect.
1 cup chocolate spread
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour + 2 tbsp
(Some people were using self rising flour so in the end I added just over 1/4 tsp of baking powder.)
They turned out well. I thought that they could have used something like nuts or chocolate chips to make them better. Right now I am having one with a scoop of chocolate ice cream and a spoonful of cool whip.
