Something that tastes like Croissants! Here`s the storey behind that. Yesterday morning, hubby and i were digging in one of the freezers to see what to make for dinner. Hubby found the ham which he took out to defrost and i took out the bag of frozen croissants that we bought at Costco. I wanted to make 6 of them. So we put back all the stuff we took out of the freezer, except the ham.

This morning i woke up at 5:30 AM and was thinking about my day yesterday. And then it hit me! My croissants! Oh hell!!! I go downstairs and i see the bag of croissants on the floor beside the freezer. The bag looked like a pillow. The croissants rose and were all stuck together like one big giant marshmallow! My first thought was to throw them out; my second thought was to bring the bag into the kitchen and check it out. I opened the bag and decided to bake the blob. So got out the cookie sheets, turned on the oven and picked up a blob at a time, cut it with a knife and baked the blobs. Looks like s**t, but tastes great!

I've made these rolls a few times now. The recipe is for hamburger rolls but they're good for other things. Lately I've been looking at other ways to shape them, found that knots are pretty easy. The dough is made in the bread machine, used this recipe. It's a nice soft bun. http://www.food.com/recipe/homemade-...-machine-80413

Frozen lemon mousse pie, and my never-fail pumpkin cinnamon muffins (12 for grandson) and a huge loaf pan to freeze.

Here's the recipe for that pumpkin loaf...it's more a cake than a 'bread', but boy does our 6 yr old grandson love it...I fold in raisins. Oh! And I use a LARGE can of pumpkin (not pie filling!) instead of the 15oz one! I made that mistake the first time and everything turned out so wonderful, I only use the large 700+ml can now! And so easy...if you have a KitchenAid, you just dump everything in...wet, then the dry!

Just do a search for "Down East Maine Pumpkin Bread" in Allrecipes.com. I'm logged in and I'm afraid if I log out I won't remember my info to get back in! LOL! And I have a ton of saved recipes I'd rather not lose... It makes beautiful loaves to accompany your tea or coffee! I added whole pecans to the part that I didn't use for the cupcakes, since our grandson is allergic to nuts.

this is a yummy recipe! I've made it many times. will have to try your suggestion to use the larger can of pumpkin!
