ohhh do you have a recipe??? I'm dying to try my hand at some recipes that aren't chocolate chip cookies LOL!

I got the recipes from the Fine Cooking magazine site. Because of the differences in flour between Canada and US (ours is heavier), I like that Fine Cooking provides the weight of flour require versus cups.

Grinch cookies!! These are basically whipped shortbread cookies, dyed with green dye with peppermint ANDES mints & mini chocolate chips added! So Yummy!
Also, made cookie dough fudge...but...next time I will use a thermometer because I went without & it didn't set ;( The flavour is yummy though so I think it will end up being ice cream topping

Double recipe of apple crisp. Made it yesterday afternoon, looked at the pan this morning and there's about 1/3 left - guess the men got peckish after I went to sleep, lol!
I look at it as a good way for them to actually eat fruit!

Vegan oatmeal raisin and (non vegan) white chocolate and cranberry <- new fav at my boyfriend's family's place
Crisp around the edges with a good chew towards the middle.

Last night was "Monkey squares" ...basically banana walnut cake made with apple sauce instead of oil to lighten the waistline affect, with a browned butter vanilla cream frosting YUMMO! Took pics with my phone but can't figure out how to post...maybe someday! lol...

Well the Christmas baking marathon is almost done! In the past few days I have made 10 dozen turtles(homemade caramel and hand dipped each one), Almond shortbread, Nanaimo bars, magic cookie bars, sugar cookies, Swedish shortbread, ginger crinkles, and almond with dried cherry cookies dipped in white chocolate.Each family member picks their one Christmas favorite and I make it. Still have to do Poppycock and Almond Roca today.
