Those look great, janetta. I like the crystal sugar detail on the tops.

A friend posted cinnamon buns on FB, so I just got in the mood for them. Made them in muffin tins so they didn't all grow together on a cookie sheet

Nope, I find that apple sauce can make cookies a bit cakey. I like them chewy!
I used ground flax seeds + water. Works great every time
Per egg...
1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
3 tablespoons water
Stir and let sit for a couple of minutes. It'll resemble beaten eggs when it's ready!
Thanks
They added a nice crunch!

hehe. Quite a few people have asked me for this one, so here is the link. It was a recipe that was originally in Today's Parent magazine.

My kids TOTALLY loved them. They ate them up in school lunches and begged me to make more.

This morning I made a batch of oatmeal chocolate chip muffins in order to use up the remaining bag of chocolate chips that stared at me EVERY time I opened the cupboard door. lol. Gheesh. I couldn't stop nibbling the darned chips straight out of the bag. Now they're done with and I don't have to show any more self-restraint. muahahaha.

...but later this evening I will be making Hawaiian pizza roll-ups for the kids for lunch tomorrow. Never made these before; hope they turn out ok. But my kids are sandwich snobs so a girl has got to be creative.
