Cinnamon sugar banana bread. I got the recipe from a co-worker and felt it was a little strange to boil and strain the bananas, but it definitely left an intense banana flavour.

I am exhausted! This morning we made 2 large tortieres and 12 smaller ones. 9 lbs of meat (ground beef, ground pork and ground veal); 10 larger potatoes, 5 larger onions, 6 cloves of garlic, etc. I tripled the recipe because i want the tortieres for the holidays and beyond. The original recipe calls for 3 lbs of meat (1 lb ground beef, 1lb ground pork, 1lb ground veal).
If anyone wants the recipe,PM me and i will give it to you. This is a tried and true recipe passed down from my mother who got it from an elderly French Canadian woman many many years ago.

Last week I baked a double batch of apple crisp. One smaller pan was for a friend, he babysat our son while we went out to a movie.

I baked 6 large sized gift tags for my DD in a special pan made for them. ( they even have the little hole to thread a ribbon through ) Three different designs and they turned out perfect, but I will ruin them eventually when it comes time to ice and write the names on them, lol!!
