Last thing you baked?

I really enjoy baking, so last night I spent an hour making a list of deserts in my phone. I am hoping to make more goodies. I always enjoy feeding them to others. I have a sweet tooth, but enjoying baking more than eating he items that I bake.

We will get along fine -- I like eating desserts at least as much as I do making them. Sometimes more, especially if someone else has made them. Yum.

I was commissioned to make two dozen double chocolate (100% nut free) cupcakes for a 5 year old Star Wars/Lego fan!
My bf is a huge Star Wars fan as well, so he was more than happy to help with his graphic design skills. He even made the birthday boy into a little Jedi!
I printed and made the cupcake toppers as well as the stand up cutouts and I got Lego coloured sprinkles throw on top.

From the feedback I received, the kids were ecstatic and were really excited to pick out which character they wanted!
So, I guess it's safe to say that I am up for hire.

Janetta, before I even read your text, when I was looking at the pics, i was thinking, OMG, those look so professional (and yummy)! And it looks like both you and your bf could also be graphic artists. Congrats on a successful gig!

I made a Raisin cake yesterday.
It was a new recipe - bit bizarre because all the mixing and stuff happened on the stove and at one time it looked
like a science project but hey, i threw that baby in the oven and she came out beautifully
