Wow, more golf, Lynn - enjoy!

We had a lovely thunderstorm in the wee hours this morning, so it's nice and cool now - and we so badly needed the rain - especially the farmers, of course. Hopefully they got some way up north, too, because the forest fires have been bad and they've had to do evacuations.

Didn't even wait that long, Dan...headed straight in after the 9th for a Caesars and sausage on a bun with saurkraut, then on to the 10th!! LOL!! NO rain, and it's sunny now!

Recovering this morning from our romp through the golf course yesterday, a bright, sunny day for a change!
So, many of you had lots of rain yesterday?! We checked a satellite map yesterday and it did look like we were in the range of a huge band if rain, but evidently it dissipated just before it reached us! So no rain at all, or I'd have been off the course in a minute! Then the sun came out...and stayed!

Hope everyone has a lovely, rain-free day! And no, 22hicks, lol....no horseshoe......! The only metal I'm wearing this season is in my leg and will be removed on the 25th, lol!
I hope Jake is having a good day, Hon.....

well luckily for us they are only allowed on the main floor ( gates in place ) and washrooms are up 1 or down 1 floor. BUT with these recent thunderstorm like conditions I have had to bring them both in the basement with me or they cry ( terrified of the thunder ) I talk to Rufus constantly and reassure him as he clings and trembles on my lap, so so adorably funny. They are sure similar to babies.

22hicks - my Vader, the tuxedo cat, waits outside the washroom door - never fails. Once in a while, she'll push in (very old door, it just closes, then there's a sliding latch on the inside).
I know so many people who have this happen with their kids, too - never happened to us with our son, guess we just made it clear. Same with the phone, he never bugged us while we were on.

Jake's fine with the thunder as long as we'er inside. Yesterday though, we were walking when there was a few claps of thunder. He just freaked, & ran as fast as I could manage, to get home.
