Contacted the bank today about switching what is used as collateral. We decided we would rather sell the sebring than attempt to store it...and get that battery out from its awkward location behind the drivers tire.

Good Morning All,
Oh what a night. I had a couple pf pick ups last night after the first one I had dinner and put the second out for pick up as I wanted to spend half an hour in the basement seeing what I could get done. Well that turned into almost 2 hours. This is what I found when I moved a box:
One of my Mom's cake colour things (yes that is me being technical) had leaked, someone had stacked a box on top of another top and snapped the lid off and and it leaked everywhere. Good news is we had planned to remove that carpet anyways just had to wait until we got everything off it, down side this is the only carpet in our house and have no carpet cleaner anymore. It took some scrubbing and it is not all gone but it is good enough that we can now walk over this area well we work in the room.

That is a lot of stuff out of cake /craft room which we are emptying to put up shelves. Once the shelves are up I will set up a sorting station and everything will be moved back in one box at a time to be sorted and put away. I think a lot of it will go. But only time will tell.

I get we did not pay for these things and were given to us but would you ever give someone something that is dirty?

I wouldn't give away dirty things because I'm all for keeping useful things out of our landfills. It's awful to receive someone's dirty things. I would be imagining all the dirt that you can't see, like microscopic or imaginary bugs! I usually wash everything to give my things the best chance at a second life, and to the degree that I would feel comfortable placing it on my own kitchen counter or dining table.

The other day I was going through some paperwork to file and I saw a tiny beige coloured bug. It might have been half a millimetre wide and about a millimetre long. I thought it might have come from my nearby plant, but I opened the recent newspaper and saw one while I was reading it. I immediately moved it to the floor, thinking how many others have fallen out of the newspaper and onto the couch! I really need to get a vacuum, but I'm not sure I would start it at that hour with LO just put to bed.

So fed up of The Walking Dead marathon today, I hate the show but the guys love it....sigh...tonight is the new spin off show....grr...just what I need more brain shows (haha), I guess I will be going to bed to start a new book that I got for free.

That show creeps me out too. I hate walking in on DH and that show, knowing that I can never unsee it!

Just got back from the dentist. Broke a tooth sometime yesterday. I didn`t feel it happen and it didn`t hurt but thought I`d better get it looked after ASAP. He was able to save the tooth...filling was still there so he just bonded it. Sure wish we had insurance though. $348 later I walked out. Guess I`d better start saving $$$ because I have 2 more that I think will need some attention soon. sigh I`ll probably have to get crowns for those.

Oh Crochetlady! I'm sorry you have to do all that work and have no insurance. Thank goodness he was able to save the tooth. I really wish that we could regrow damaged teeth or get a second set of adult teeth sometimes!

@SassyAshley: Wow, moving all those boxes must have been a huge endeavour! We have to do something similar in our basement and I'm really not looking forward to it. I must do it though. I really, really need to post items on kijiji!

-well off to get my sticker for my car -gonna beat the sept 1 deadline as it goes up 10.00
-pop into rexall on the way and get my prescription -today is 20%(regular price only) for seniors 55 and up at rexall-see what I may find
-didn't get much sleep last night was up til 2 -my gum was swollen (only around the one crown) -see crappy work and I am going to pay for it the rest of my life -sometimes I get bitter)was taking advil /Tylenol extra strength too -ahhhh today I am better I can a lot done need to clean spare room for when "ashlyn" sleeps over sept 7 for the night

Morning! A cool day here so far. No sun. Looks like we will get rain. That is ok because my grass looks great Youngest DS off at another hockey camp this week. Keeps him busy. (but I have to pack lunch all week! So far so good! Peaches and cucumbers are his fav this week ) Last night we didn't go for a bike ride but we did take a drive to the waterfront park and brought the dog so that was great that she got out for a walk. DS went on the swings too. Glad to get him out for fresh air. It got dark so early

Cool start to the day here, but it's supposed to get to 27.

Just puttering around the house today, as best I can do.

Had bought pork loin and whole chickens on sale, so prepped those for freezing.

My niece and daughter at Morraine Lake( old $20 bill) this weekend. Lots of beautiful hiking this weekend and now the forest fire smoke has rolled in from the US and we can't even see the mountains. We and our guests had a great time and they are flying home today.

Went through some toys yesterday. We exchange toys in active play from closet storage about once a month. Did that yesterday. Girls have sooooo much, birthdays and Christmas around the corner too!

If there is not room in the closet storage, no more with out purging and making room! The older two have received tons lately between garage sales with gramma and gifts for having a new sister. Selling a bunch that they don't use or don't use properly (ie the Mr. Potato head they don't create but scatter on the ground). Some of them they have received recently...but I am not a fan of noisy toys. 😁

They are playing happily this morning because they have "new" toys out. They also helped me take pictures for the online ads of the toys we plan to sell.

Meeting a friend at an indoor playground this afternoon. Time for fun after all our hard work cleaning and organizing yesterday and this morning.

Good idea with switching the toys! We have gotten rid of so much stuff. Every so often I will grab a few dvd's off my son's shelf and ask him if he will watch it again. Usually the answer is no. Which reminds me to post a bunch for sale tonight!

Oh hell i'm pissed while i was away someone opened the freezer and didn't close the door properly now everything is thawed out ,boy glad there wasn't too much in .Guess i'm go and clean it out

Tonight's dinner will be a clean out the fridge/freezer dinner. Leftovers to use up- pork roast, mashed potatoes, fresh cauliflower, perogies, a cheese burger, taco meat, and cooked pasta in the freezer. Youngest loves these kind of feasts! Oldest will probably eat the cheese burger and perogies (last nights dinner)

What a waste. I`d be pissed too. Glad there wasn`t too much to throw away.
