just read back 5 pages! You guys are all so politically charged! Woot! Woot! I was very surprised by the Majority Justin got. We'll just see how this all plays out, I will not attack him until he starts breaking promises. ( like getting mail delivery back door-to-door )

Hi, Walks...you're so right about those promises he made; he was pretty generous making them all, let's see how this all plays out. He took the high-road, not mud-wrestling with harper, stuck to the issues and swept everyone up with his positive messages. Someone last night asked if we had noticed that he called us "Canadians" and "neighbours" instead of "taxpayers" as harper had always done. I thought that was an interesting remark. I wish he and his party all the best!

Oddly enough Dave i can do the ammo too, coming from Red Deer, most people keep it in the junk drawer in the kitchen!!!
LOL about the outbreak, didn't know people were that into the zombies still...now that scares me!

Poor Harper woke up in Calgary this morning with an NDP premier of his province, and a Liberal PM. Wondering how he is coping.

Same here, Lynn. My kids are aging into the workforce now and I hope the Liberals provide a stable environment for them to do that. I don't want the next 4 years to be a hard 4 years, for my kids' sake.

Even though part of me kind of wants to give Justin a little slap in the kisser...

I'm pleased the Mirror is on top of the real issues faced by Canadians...

Is Justin Trudeau the sexist politician in the world?

Last night, Canada elected genuine heartthrob Justin Trudeau , kicking off what has to be the sexiest political dynasty since the Kennedys. Justin is the son of former Prime Minister Pierre-Elliot Trudeau, himself a bit of a hunk with a loyal and devoted following back in the 70s.
Trudeau Jr has luscious brown hair, spellbinding eyes and eyebrows that, we're reliably informed, are "entirely on point."\

And let's face it, he takes care of himself. He's been known to consider his shirt optional, revealing a chiselled physique a very manly tattoo. Not only that, but he once challenged a Conservative senator to a boxing match. Which, of course, he won

Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

That's SO very interesting, the percentages of the popular vote.

Patty, I guess then our positions are reversed, how you didn't like being part of the 61% that didn't vote for the PM.
Yup however those who voted for the NDP are also leftists so we actually do represent the majority of Canadians if you want to look at it as a left and right thing.

eta - What I mean is NDP voters would be more likely to "accept" liberal policies over conservative ones. I just hope that there is more cooperation all around. We were starting to look like the U.S. congress there for a while.

No, I think a lot of Liberals are centrists, not leftists, If we had a trly centrist party they'd leave both the left and the right in the dust.
