    Everyone ready for Devil's night. This will be the last Halloween in this house. Never had to worry about trick or treaters as living in the country, everyone heads to town for goodies. Didn't put any decorations up this year.
    It's a frosty one out there this morning, will be scraping frost off the windows. This too will soon end, yeah!

    Blue Jays' Fans Launch Petition to Re-Sign Alex Anthopoulos

    Toronto Blue Jays' fans are upset over the departure of former GM Alex Anthopoulos and are demanding action.

    An online petition has been started asking for president and CEO Mark Shapiro to be fired and the 38-year-old, "MLB Executive of the Year," Anthopoulos be re-signed.

    During a news conference yesterday, Anthopoulos said he wouldn't get into specifics but that re-signing with the team didn't make sense -- Jays fans aren't buying it. You can find a link to the petition here.

    Can someone explain why? There's solar panels & wind turbines & we're paying more?????? It's like Bell & the home phone or telephone booth. They're becoming obsolete, so we'll charge more.

    Perhaps the only thing scarier than Halloween is a jump in the cost of hydro -- Ontarians are bracing for both this weekend.

    Hydro rates will spike on Sunday for all Ontario residents with a Smart Metre. It’s going to cost 1.4 cents more per kilowatt, per hour during the peak hours.

    Impact Advance With Victory Over Toronto FC

    The Montreal Impact have advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals of the MLS Cup playoffs after defeating Toronto FC 3-0 on Thursday.
