Noticed Puritan chilli's and stews are part of the b5g40 promo this week @$1.25 each. Walmart sells them for $1.83 each. So say you bought 50 for $62.50 you get 400 miles and if used in part with a spendXXXGXXX coupon that's an extra 65 miles so $62.50 for 50 cans and get 465 miles back.

465 = $48.83

Donate the $62.50 worth of Puritan to a food bank that gives a tax receipt and if you've donate at least $200 so far this year or have saved up your tax donations receipts for up to the last 5 years you'd get about a 42% tax credit.

$62.50 x 0.42 = $26.25

$62.50 - $26.25 = $36.25

So, for every $36.25 you spend (counting the tax credit) you pick up $48.83 in AirMiles.

That's a 34.7% return on your money!

These are the most wanted items at my food bank and probably similar to all the food banks. Looks like stews is a desirable item.

We appreciate all food donations but we are most in need of nutritious non-perishable food items. Our most wanted items are:

• Infant formula
• whole grain pastas and cereals
• canned fruits and vegetables
• canned meats and beans
• 100% fruit juice
• hearty soups and stews
• gluten-free foods

I want the promo from last year where it was any of their gift cards... I can't remember what time of year it was though, but I think it might have been after the new year? I bought 6 months of Starbucks cards for my husband, loved getting airmiles for that!
