We went to a friends 50th anniversary come and go this afternoon. On the way home we stopped to visit other friends. Finished a baby afghan this afternoon before we left and just started another one.
Tomorrow I get my legs done again...hope they can do the doppler so they know what level of compression I need.

FBM-I think the pts go on Nov 20th and there is rumoured to be a bonus redemption the last weekend of Nov. Read the fine print in the flyer carefully to maximize your pts!

Hi! Busy day at work today. and have finally booked the rest of my vacation days. Lots of 4 day weekends ahead of me
And this Wednesday as well. We had plans for a drive and free lunch at the casino for couple time but will see once the day comes. I may want to just get stuff done around the house....but that isn't much fun lol. Chinese for dinner tonight! I made an executive decision! Going home to shower then go to SDM to get Gift cards (and $10 in food for 3000 pts!- then I have 2 x 95,000 pts for redemptions
. Then pick up Chinese and home. Oldest is working tonight- Love it when he is working and making $! I transferred a bit of his money from his account to his "out of sight savings account" He will appreciate it down the road!

I went to Rexall and go a large tube of Colgate Total for 4.99, used a coupie for 1.50, which brought it down to about half regular price.

well watcvhed ashlyn today managed to get her out for a bike walk this morning for a good 45 minutes then took her to a playground and she loved the swing
-as I was walking her on her bike -it was garbage day and bluebox day in my son's neighbourhood -as I walked past one corner blue bin I saw the kelloggs mini-wheats Hasbro box for a free 15.00 pin coupon that comes in the mail -I passed it then half way down the street I turned around and went back and scooped it out of the blue bin -it still had the plastic bag in it (so I didn't think it was used ) I was right just entered the pin a free cpn coming to me and I didn't even buy the cereal -yipeeee
-ashly was holding the box all the way home looking at the playdoh picture on the back
-my daughter-in-law asked me if I wanted to bath her today as they came in late last night from a 2 year old party -yep I love doing all the extras for my granddaughter -ahhhhhhh

Good Morning! Beautiful day here now but I heard rain later today. My wonderful man finished raking the back yard and it looks great! A few trees still have a bit of leaves but the worst of it is gone. Will appreciate it so much in the Spring. Treated him to Chinese last night. We went to SDM and I bought $175.00 in restaurant GC's. We have a team hockey dinner planned at East Side's so that was an easy buy! Now to figure out which GC's I need for Christmas. I am hoping that I will get 30 PC pts on the $1 on my PC MC when I buy GC's like I do at RCSS. My MC is getting a beating this week but will be happy when I see all the pts posted lol

Good afternoon, everyone.

Hope everyone is well. Been burning the candle at both ends again. Sheesh, I think it will be quiet so I make no plans and my dance card is filled to overflowing. I think next week, I'll actually make a few plans, just so I can have a few days of rest.
Off to help a friend later (she had surgery not too long ago & is still having some challenges, so I offered to help with some vacuuming and dusting - unfortunately, she has evil allergies or I'd bring along my crew to work
).
Still have some Halloween decorations up (I'm a sucker for black cats and jack-o-lanterns), so I'll have to spend some time tonight getting things put away. Have to start making room for my Xmas tree forest.
Better get going.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

I will always offer cash for gas. I know how annoying it can be when someone rides in your car for five days a week, for four hours a day and offers you maybe one coffee ($1.50) once per week. Even more annoying are the times when he requests you to drive him home, despite living in a major city and being fully capable of taking public transit, one hour to drop him off, and one hour back home (making it a total of six hours in your car), and missing dinner with your family. (Gas money does not cover that - if he ever did offer money instead of chain smoking!) Meanwhile, our car reeks of cigarette smoke.

If they say no, it usually comes with "you can pay for the next lunch/dinner", which is just fine. I get to see the person again.
My dad will pay for the entire tank of gas, insisting, and making a big fuss of it the entire time. Now with the CC and points, people usually decline him, saying it's already paid, so he finds alternative ways of paying back, usually involving him hiding money somewhere, like the person's jacket, mittens, or on the seat when he leaves.
He finds it really hard to accept any kindness from anyone and is quite proud that he doesn't owe anyone anything (in his mind).
I am super confused. I never know where my points go when I use the PC MC. I have a PC Plus account that it's linked to, but do not see the points for my bags or bonus points. I'm wondering if it's the PC Points that's on the PC Financial webpage instead of the PC Plus points?

Productive day around here.
Call #1 to the customer loyalty dept of my phone/cable/internet provider( Shaw) and told them I was concerned that my bill was inching up and I needed to see if they could help me trim it down a bit. Managed to score $180 savings for 1 year and a free speed boost in internet service for 12 months because I am such a "loyal customer". Of course I was very nice and I mentioned I was calling them first to see what they could offer before I called their competitors.
Call #2-got an offer in the mail yesterday from my electric/gas provider(Enmax) offering a new special rate as a loyal customer. The fine print was so confusing I had no idea how to make an intelligent, informed decision so I called them and asked them to explain to me in plain English, how much I would save. Outcome-chose a new fixed rate electric price and will save $300 over 5 years based on our current usage. We decided to continue on the floating rate for natural gas and if we see the prices start to go up we can phone in and lock in a gas price with 30 days notice.
Honestly I don't know how every one else feels but with how confusing all these admin charges and fees are you practically need a degree in billing and marketing to figure out your best deal per individual utility company-and then if you also try to compare 2-3 companies per service-good grief!!

@Sweets parrow - If you log onto your account at pcplus.ca and look under account and transaction you can see the detail. It shows your CC pts credited. It also show your grocery store detail so that is where the points from bags should show up.
