Whew!! Dodged another one!!
My x-ray, blood-work, EKG, and cat-scan all proved that I am very normal, in fact, my doc said, "Keep paying your taxes, you're not going anywhere!", LOL....gotta love him for things like that! So no heart disease, which I feared most of all with all that dizziness I was having, close to fainting, because of my Dad having had so many heart-attacks...in fact, tomorrow is the date he passed away....
Anyhoodles!!...the only thing I have to do is ADD salt to my diet! He had to laugh, since he always admonished me about salt, so I've been using NoSalt, but now...back to real salt since it's low. How weird is that, eh?
So it's going to be a very merry Christmas for me....nothing to worry about, no more ambulance rides, nothing but good news as soon as I'm done with 2015!!!! Can't wait to see the back of this year!!
How goes it with you, Cuppycake? Keeping quiet...off that leg, right? I know how much that sucks, but next year you'll be going over-board just like I did this year. And next year, I'll be even crazier!! Even our Grandson made his Dad walk in with his eyes closed just to get the full effect of the place when they came for dinner on Friday, LOL!!!
Have a lovely evening, everyone!!

Lynn - great news, glad that all is well; how wonderful!
Just put shipwreck casserole in the oven for supper, waiting for husband to come home.
Today is his last work day until the new year - he had to use up vacation days before the end of the year.
It's going to be SO good for him to have a break; he works so very hard.
Bonus for me, too - I just LOVE having him home!

That's such a relief. It'll be a very happy Christmas for you and your family.
And I'll bet you DID go all out, as I plan to do next year. :Icon Santa:

Well, subtract at least a half day from husband's days off - he said he had such a bad day today, he didn't get finished what he wanted to before leaving, so he hopes he can get it done by noon tomorrow.

Great news Lynn, That is really great
news.
Went to my DD to receive a new fridge today after their 7 year old one crapped out yesterday. Well it was supposed to be there between 11 and 1 and finally showed up at 4:45, I was so mad I could have killed them. If it was any other appliance I would have told them too put it off and come another time, but they can't live without a fridge especially with two young ones.

Good morning everyone...from a high yesterday to a low today: this is the date my Dad passed away many years ago, so maybe that's why I'm not feeling any Christmas spirit today....Hubby and I were choosing his casket Christmas eve...how pathetic is that for Christmas.....
I'd better snap out of it, he was always my Christmas partner...we'd sneak Christmas stuff upstairs into the house just to tick Mom off, lol...since the house wasn't yet "presentable" (read: perfect) for decorating and expecting company...he wouldn't want me to be sad...SO!! I've informed my Hubby that I'll be stealing the van today to visit the mall and find some Christmas spirit there (it has to be somewhere, right?)...maybe pick up a few trinkets for our Daughter blowing her imposed budget...phhht!He said he'd drive me and pick me up so that I don't have to park in another province and walk back and forth to the mall....So...better perk up and get moving.
Hicks, you sweet thing, I know you're not feeling particularly festive, nor can you celebrate your birthday like you may want to this year, but I do hope you know how much you've come to mean to all of us here...your positive outlook reflected in your posts, thinking of others here always...I wish you a lovely day today...spoil yourself but stay off that leg!!
Everyone: have a joyous day...only 3 more sleeps until Santa arrives: do try to behave...

Good morning every1.
@Lynn49 - my heart goes out to you today.
I was going through something similar a few years ago; my Mom was dying. I got a call on Christmas Eve but hung on through Christmas, and left us on Jan. 14th. A sad time of year for so many.
Tomorrow, just think of how far you've come, and all that you've done for Christmas, and enjoy the family.
@dededi - thank you.
