Heidy-Ho, Friends!!
Easy-peasy appt with the dentist this morning, no needle, no freezing, just a filling adjustment and it was great! I put up a little fuss about not being frozen, but he insisted I'd be fine (he knows I'm 5 years old when I'm there), and I said, if you're wrong, I'm going to smack you upside your head...and he said he's sit still until I was exhausted from hitting him! The man understands me.
It's a balmy -2 out there, the white crap is dying a slow death...mwahahaha...We dropped into Costco for a few things and now I'm going to sit and read Bob Woodward's new book, The Last of the President's Men and enjoy it immensely! Honestly, I just pause every so often and take it all in....and I remember so much about those days and nixon's final farewell...so exciting!
Well, time for lunch, and my book!
Dan, fingers crossed, happy thoughts sent for your review, although I'm pretty darn sure it's going to be amazing, just like you!!
I hope you're all enjoying your lovely days!!

These majestic & beautiful snub-nosed monkeys look like they underwent too much cosmetic surgery. Not very many of them left in this world.

Hello every1.
Lynn, glad it was an easy appt. today. Now you can relax - breathe.
Dan, don't you just hate waiting, again. You get yourself all set, and whomp, not today.
It'll be anti-climatic when it finally happens, but I'm sure it'll go well.
We were all super well behaved today Lynn, because we weren't here. LOL

Aw, nice to see you all behaved yourselves today. At least...as far as being here is concerned. I do worry when you're all out of my sight, however.
Ever have one of those days where you want to get so much done but all you seem to be doing is spinning your wheels? That was today for me. I want to get so many things done but the problem is, I don't know where I want to start! Decisions, decisions.......and I'm a Libra for heaven's sake! I'll be weighing these decisions for ever!!

No worries; no need to decide, there's always tomorrow.

Yes, my little Grasshopper, that's exactly the decision I've made. See? I'm capable of making one or two of them now and then...I've decided to decide tomorrow. Or the next day. We'll see how tomorrow goes. I may have to insinuate myself beautifully into my reclining sofa tomorrow and take a break from all this decision-making. Anyone have an aspirin?

Instead of aspirin, why not pour yourself a glass of wine.

I can't on my diet. I mean...I can, but 5 ounces for a bunch of points?! Who in their right mind drinks only 5 ounces?!!
However, I will be having wine during the Superbowl game. Traditions cannot be broken. It's a rule.
We've invited my late BestFriend's Hubby over for dinner and the game since we all used to be together for it after we stopped hosting those big parties. All hosting, very little game-watching for us! It was always so comfortable and warm to be with them at any time.......okay. Now I'm sad.

Hello folks!
A bit of a two steps forward, one step back kind of day.
DH started out feeling lousy so morning plans were reworked. I did achieve some ground on my wedding ceremony.
We did manage to get DH an appointment with his oncologist for next week. He had kind of fallen out of the loop of followup appointment s when he had to cancel one last year when he had surgery. So, 4 trips to London in the next week.
We managed to pick up our meds prescription s and a few groceries this afternoon, but DH got very weak and we had to head home.
Doggy is enjoying his "pill treats" (with peanut butter) that are aimed at fixing an anal gland infection that he has.
I actually saw a dandelion in the field this afternoon. It looked a bit stressed but it was still yellow.
I bought an African Violet on sale at Sobey' s yesterday. ($1) I love violets but I tend to over water them. This one is a lovely white with purple rim colour.
I hope you all have a great sleep and wake up well!

Lynn, glad the dentist went ok. . . It must be awful being such an object of fear to the rest of the world ( a dentist I mean- not you Lynn. Lol!)
Dan I hope you have a great review today. . .delayed expectations and all.
RNC, am very sorry to hear about your buddy. That's so sad.
Avon, frankly your day sounded pretty tiring. Hope today is a good one and your hubby feels better.
Hicks, looks like you and me are on the same page.
I had a hard day working on helping a Dr. buy a Farm. Ya, I know right? you'd think a doctor who makes loads of money would be easy peasy. Nope. Lenders hate farms. This I know since I own farmland myself. Pretty crazy, and frustrating too. It's just a mixed up world.
Better part of the day was going to "Open mike" at our local Cultural Centre. One of my clients that moved here started a band. He's an older gentleman and most of the band was older except one base player, but they ROCKED! Mix of rock, blues and a bit of country. The Blues were my favourite. Great evening!
Night everyone! Have a great day!
