We are having a couple over tonight for a for a little BBQ. She is making burger patties, garlic potatoes, burger buns and hotdog buns. We'll do the BBQing at my house. I have Schneiders Country Naturals wieners, bacon, tossed salad, cheese, condiments, and home made banana bread.

BBQ steak, Curried Couscous and sauted mushrooms, red onions and bok choy. It was the first time I've had bok choy. I didn't really care for it.

Leftover BBQ pork burgers (not bad reheated in the nuker), with lettuce, onions, tomatoes. Made an oil and vinegar dressing for coleslaw.
BTW, for anyone with Co-op, the frozenpork burgers were 4.99 for 8, almost a kg. They were very good, barely shrunk, very meaty, seasoning was decent (which is a bonus for any frozen burgers!).

Arrgh dinner rant. I did not feel like cooking. Cheap this week was $2/400g ground beef, green peppers, red peppers, onions, Aylmer tomatoes...I told him he can have it with celery and beans and call it chili or mushrooms and call it spaghetti sauce. He picked spaghetti. I was so annoyed with some visitor interruptions and chopping things up into tiny bits to his specifications
that made the process into a marathon that when the sauce was done I decided to scoop some on fresh bread and call it Sloppy Joe. He says (from the couch) "But what about the other guy?" lol. The other guy had to make noodles but he is a better and stronger person for it.

Last night we had BBQ leftovers. Burgers, buns, fresh coleslaw, and "World's Best Mom" cake that was part of a $40 prize that our son won from the CO-OP.
