is SC using Spam Bots to LIKE and REP your posts ?

The one thing I've noticed is these few people 'like' every post you make, yet I've never ever seen them write a post or comment on a thread..........

The "LIKE" button is in the lower right hand in the body of each post.
The "REP" button is the "star" symbol in the bottom LEFT corner of the post, below the user info.

Some people want the extra hearts/stars that come with reps, there is a thread for daily reps as we have had complaints about random reps before but like Dave mentioned, you have to rep so many people before repping the same person again so they just go through recent posts and like/rep them.

Not done by SC, there is no benefit to it for Boo that I can see, if anything just adds to the database/server load he has to pay for.

As far as them not posting, at least one who reps me regularly does but only in the last year-ish so their posts don't show in the broken search engine

I know who you`re referring to. The 3 of them like and rep my stuff on a daily basis as well - don`t think they are bots, some of my posts have even been repped twice by the same individual.

Kind of annoying. Fellow friends on here generally rep with a comment or a joke. These just grab your attention and say " rep " ...

it actaully discourages me from liking or commenting

It could also be the fact that [insert person] wanted to rep you but already repped a more recent post so they had to find an older one. Once you rep a post once, you can't do it again.
