Depends on the store. I find Freshco is the easiest to PM fruit, veg and meat at. There you bring it all to the till and PM as normal, just showing the price per kilogram in most cases.

RCSS/ No Frills, fruit and veg is PM'ed at the cashier in same style (w/ per kg price) and meat HAS to be PM'ed at the meat counter/ in store butcher. I personally find it is getting more difficult/ not worth it to PM meat these days at RCSS, too many restrictions, difficulties and problematic employees. But once again, you show them the price per kg, so long as it is the EXACT same type, normally NO EXCEPTIONS (I find it difficult to PM Chicken since most of it is the PC Air Chilled and they will not PM a generic ad for chicken, has to be the PC Air Chilled to qualify)

aaargh! I am suffering from flyer fatigue.
I am not 100% certain but I think I saw
the 10 count packs of the snack size Mars bars
in a flyer for a super price.
Did you see it as well?
Trying to get started on Halloween treat bags.
Thank you for your help in trying to clear up my confusion.

    @ To @yodelh ,

    Fruits & Veggies & Eggs & Nuts

Product description must generally match the ones sold at Walmart. It does not matter which producer/farmer packaged the product. As well, they must be sold in the same unit per price.

    For example
Yellow/Orange Peppers, sold in pounds (lbs) by most stores. To ad match, Walmart must also offer the peppers in lbs.
Peppers if sold in tray, or 4 in a package, must find a matching packing / unit at Walmart.
Red Gala Apple must match to Gala apple at Walmart.
Egg Whites Large - must get white & large at Walmart, cannot be brown nor extra large.
10 lbs Potatoes - if not stipulated, can be Yellow, Red or white at Walmart. But if it's stated "white", usually you have to buy the white.

Most of the time, interpretation, flexibility and enforcement of the flyer matching details is up to the individual cashier & store procedures, so hard to be specific on this post.

    Meats & Fish

Generally must match the same cut descriptions & sold in the same measurements. All the meat is pre-weighed & packaged, with individual prices on the label. The cashier simply scans the price bar code and inputs a kg override price, then an automatic price recalculation occurs (very simple & easy to execute). Only exception (for our Walmart), the Maple Leaf premium brand labelled PRIME must be matched to a Maple Leaf PRIME ad sale.

Best thing to do is consult with your Walmart's Customer Service to determine their policy & procedures.

Thanks for your clarification and info rockco! Great help!!

What about price matching milk? Walmart sells the brand 'Neilson' and they don't have 'Sealtest', can I price match a 4L Neilson with a 4L 'Sealtest' flyer then?

I find different customer service gives you different answers, the one from the morning shift (same store) gives you a 'yes', but the other one from the afternoon shift will give you a 'no'...

I personally have not had luck with milk. It's a "processed" product unlike fruit, veg, nuts, meat, so my Walmart requires ad match by brand.

But sometimes, I can ad match butter regardless of brand. Hit & miss.

@cinpow , thanks very much for making it easier for all of us. Low priced pork seems to be the trend these few weeks. Will definitely get gr pork for $.99lb per your list.

All, reminder, use the $1.50 Scrubbing Bubbles coupon if you purchase the Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet bowl cleaner (Giant Tiger) for $1.99. For most of us, the coupon was in the previous week's smartsource September coupon insert. It's a great savings, so don' forget to clip.

Has anyone noted the Chapman's ice cream for $2 anywhere this coming week? I'm sure I saw it but silly me i didn't screenshot or write it down. It wasn't the RCSS sale, I'm sure it was a smaller store?

************* Thank you @sweet sparrow !! Terra Foodmart it is!!

I find FreshCo to be a little restrictive in that you can only PM 2 kg or two (regardless of UPC) of anything, like two boxes of pasta. It's not worth going to if you have more than a family of two for us. If anyone brings even 2.5 kg of produce to PM, the cashiers start opening bags and pulling out all your produce until it's less than 2 kg.

@Valerey : I saw it in the Terra flyer for $1.99.

I can't for the life of me find the $0.58/lb golden delicious apples I PMed earlier this week though. I had to settle for apples at $0.68/lb today. I spent my entire walk home looking for them.
