    Walmart

Frozen adjustable skates-$23xx(birthday gift for a friend's dd), shelf price said $39.97 so it was a nice surprise at the till.

    Shoppers

Marcelle Revival gift set, reg $55.95 on sale for $27.95. Not the best price but considering it comes with a full size day cream, night cream, toner and facewash(and maybe eyeshadow, I never buy their makeup so I'm not sure) and one cream retails for $36.95 I'm not complaining too much.

It's the end of the year and time to toss out the coupons expiring Dec. 31/16 but some coupons are just hard to throw away. I still had 11 x $1.00 coupons good on any Johnsonville sausage (from paper towels packaging?), about to expire. I went to Sobeys and was happy to see their sale price. I purchased:

    11 x Johnsonville 375g Pure Beef Sausages @ $3.00 each (reg. $5.99) - 11 x $1.00 coupons = $22.00 (all expire March 2017)

I paid with a tooney and $20 from Air Miles.

Re-jigged my channel lineup with Shaw yesterday. Got rid of the movie channels but managed to keep everything else, plus add a couple more channels we didn't have before to save $20 per month. It took two phone calls and well over two hours on the phone with them but I got it done. I love dealing with Shaw, their customer service department should sell courses to other companies - I'm looking at you, Bell - on how to deal with people and keep them happy.

[QUOTE=lecale;6728243]Yes, I have a little tote in my closet to store stuff and it's empty now. I usually start making my list in August but the NHL stuff goes over so well with the man-boys that I jumped on a guaranteed win.

The man-boys also all like to get weatherproof NHL stickers for their hobby vehicles. I had been doing stickers in xmas cards to make up for not quite enough and I discovered this year that it was an important part of xmas to them, to have some new decals.

I did some NHL hats this year and lol, apparently it is the fashion to not remove the manufacturer's authenticity decals off of the thing for at least a week. I have seen kids go out with the stickers, but near-retirement-age men? Apparently still kids at heart.

Walmart has been a great source of satisfying but cheap NHL stuff. I have been watching them a lot more carefully.

I am glad that they all like different teams, because it makes it easier to do.

    Hockey, smh.[/QUOTE
My DS did that too with his Leafs hat was so mad cause I took the stickers off lol!

Found some nice Lindt Dessert chocolates $1.94!

Love Blue Fridays at Sobey's (Dec 30). Spend $104 and made 705 AM (plus another 48 AM as I used the $200 gift card I bought and received 95 AM for).
As I value my airmiles at 720 AM for 100 travel $, I made a little more than dollar for dollar
    4 pizza @ 2/$9 + 100 AM
    4 cheese @ $4.99 + 100 am
    4 OJ @ $3.00 + 100 AM
    8 Clamato Juice varieties @ $3.49 + 200 AM
    1 10-lb potatoes @ $4.99 + 20 AM
    1 5-lb orange @ $4.79 + 20 AM
    8 Johnsonville Sausage @ $3.97 - $2 coupon each + 100 AM

Plus I received an additional 95 airmiles for buying $95 (coupon).
(Because cashier forgot to ring in bonus coupon, I had to go to customer service, where she gave me an additional 5 AM for it to ring up properly.
    Grand total of airmiles today -- 605 + 100 + 48 = 753
    Love the bonus airmiles

Discovered I had 3 FPC's still left for the 1.59 kg size of Iam's cat food. Went to tank my car and stopped at No Frills to "buy" them and drop them in the local food bank box. Makes you feel good that some little kitties will have a couple meals because of that.

Went to shoppers last night to use my last Aveeno coupons and saw the Amope Foot and Nail gift sets on for $35 reg $89.99... while standing there contemplating whether I should buy or not, prices were changed to $25. Left my cart with cosmetics cashier and went home to try and print the $5 coupons from smartsaver but after a couple of tries and one hour later, coupons did not print. I went back and bought the sets anyways. After all said and done, my receipt says I saved $196

On boxing day I bought a parka online from Aritizia that was regular $295, On sale for $250.
With taxes and shipping it came to $290..

(These jackets are great and last a long time , plus mine now is too big on me)

Couple days after I was browsing kijiji and found one for $125! Same coat, same colour, in amazing condition!

My package is coming today and I will promptly be returning it!

Zehrs has a 3-day, Mon. - Wed., sale on Post cereals. This morning, I bought:

    8 x Post Honey Bunches of Oats @ $1.67 each - 8 x $1.00 coupons (tear-pad) = $5.36 or 67 cents per box

    Ideal for food bank donation!
