Since he just gave me toast cut across the middle instead of diagonally, I thought it was time to bring back Question of the Day and make this my first question.

    How do you cut sandwiches/toast?

I cut mine diagonally but got a "equator" cut today which is just wrong LOL
Do you cut the crusts off? Use sandwich/cookie cutters to make them cute shapes?

What is your fave or go-to sandwich
(I realize we are all probably eating ham and swiss this week thanks to the No Frills sale)

can I be the odd ball who doesn't do any of those cuts?

I cut mine along the red line shown here:

Always keep the crust! It adds that extra bit of texture to the sandwich.
Plus you can't have that "best bite (an interior soft bread only bite)" without a crust bite in there now and then!

I like sandwiches in general, but I'll never turn down an old faithful BLT

I've only ever heard that one called triangles cut, or sailboat.

For me, totally depends upon what type of bread, what type of sandwich filling it is.

I couldn't find a pic, and can't draw it here, but I generally cut a sandwich into three. First cut goes from the top left corner to just below the indentation on the right, then second cut from the corner of the bottom left to the center.
Works well for sandwiches with meat, lettuce, and tomato - kind of the same idea of cutting a clubhouse in quarters, so you get max filling.

Otherwise, I do triangles or equator cut.

^ Same here with husband, he doesn't cut sandwiches - and his are usually three or four layers of bread with meat and cheese in between.

I don't eat bread so the point is moot I quit bread last year and don't miss it at all. I do, however, miss the holder for the delicious fillings.
