Ok, now this looks promising...
it also helps that Charlie Hunnam is in it...

XXX: Return of Xander Cage - 7/10: Typical actiony, shoot em' up movie, didn't see the others in the series, but it only cost a couple buck to see with snax, so why not?

Resident Evil 6.5/10
it was a decent movie much better than the critics made it sound... that being said I don't really follow the games at all so I don't have biased expectations. I went to the movie because dh likes resident evil (he watched all the movies and plays the games as well) but he also gave it a 6-7/10. the 3D wasn't worth it though because there was very little 3D effect and the glasses basically just stopped the movie from being blurry. We payed around 1$ oop because I used my scene points (3500) for the premium movie night for 2 (2 3D movie admissions, 2 drinks, 1 popcorn) and just payed to upsize the 2 drinks.
edit to add that although this is supposed to be the last movie in the series the ending is still left open for a possible sequel.Last edited by francine1985; Sat, Jan 28th, 2017 at 06:51 PM.

oh no!! I have been wringing my hands trying to get the nerve to go to see this! The previews look terrifying to me but I was very curious and intrigued by what I saw of James Mcavoy's portrayal of the various characters. Well if I can convince someone here in the house to go with me and hold my hand I might still go see it. ha ha

Imerium - 7/10
The people on IMDB were way too harsh on this movie. I thought it was ok. Daniel Radcliffe also had a pretty good American accent.

Two movies I had never heard of before. ( I get these through Bell, The Movie Network )
First was one made in 2009 called After.Life with Liam Neeson, Christina Ricci and Justin Long.
At first I was intrigued! then oh boy I hung in there but in the end I give it a 6/10 at best.
Second one was a 2015 movie ( a little more " quirky " ) called Walter. Well, I did enjoy some of the actors in it, ( William H. Macy, Milo Ventimiglia, Jim Gaffigan!! so again I hung in there ) but oh well.....a begrudging 6/10 also.
I have enjoyed so many movies from these channels that I was surprised to view 2 duds back to back.....ha ha.

I like to watch movies other than Hollywood blockbusters now and then but this one was just painful. I got up halfway through and changed the tub mat in my bathroom and cleaned the tub out, that's how much I liked this movie. I let it run til the end though.
